JC Outdoors kept the case, disassembled the shotgun, packed the shotgun in a too small unprotected cardboard box and shipped it USPS. It arrived with a broken stock and butt plate. Specifically, I am a big fan of the BC stores including BC Outdoors, BC Market on the Square and BC Bakery. Regarding Bryson City Outdoors, they are connected to a tap hours so gear on the left and beer on the right. What's not to love? If you don't love beer they have wine too! Much to my surprise, I skipped the beer and went for gear. After perusing fleece jackets, hiking shoes, headlamps and the such, I landed on a new pair of socks. Not that I needed anything but the employees were so kind I just had to support this local business somehow. Hmm, maybe I should have gotten a pint after all. Lots of good stuff and quality brands for the whole family - all nicely organized. Overall, a great place located on the corner of Main Street and Everett. Most definitely one of the best stores in town.
