I came from SW Houston via Beltway. I skipped the expensive toll bridge by going through the feeder road. There are several nice restaurants spread evenly at The Crossing at 288 Mall. Major restaurants such as Texas Roadhouse, Willies Restaurant, Olive Garden and Lupe Tortilla are lined up on the feeder road. Then, there is at least one restaurant per building throughout the mall. Chase Bank with multi-lane drive-through is at the corner of Broadway and the feeder road. The busiest restaurant during lunchtime is Chipotle across from Chase Bank. I saw a long line formed at 12:30 on Monday. I have been to a nice Asian restaurant called Noodle and More right after entering the final entrance on the feeder road. If you are a pedestrian, be really careful walking across the parking lot. I almost got hit 6 out of 10 times minding my own business. If you are a driver, please pay attention to where you are going. Because crosswalks are for pedestrians to walk across, not a racing lane.

I have shopped at Ha.ba's for gifts and accessories, but was pleasantly surprised to find that they carry some plus size options. I've purchased a couple of dresses and tops that are in regular rotation. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and always helps me find just the right thing. In addition to being a great shop, they also do a great job highlighting local artists during art walk. I've gotten some of the cutest personalized bracelets to art pieces. Definitely stop by and check them out.

What an amazing little boutique! While taking an unexpected, small weekend break away from our…read moredaily lives, we decided to make a relaxing trip to Galveston. Of course, with the trip being so spontaneous, I forgot most items, including a nice outfit for a special date night dinner. I looked on maps for a boutique and found this one to have the best reviews. Once we walked in, Emily and Bo welcomed us like family! My husband and I were a mess since we had just spent the day at the beach and walked to the boutique. I told Emily what I had in mind and in no time, I was in the fitting room with some special outfits! I loved them all and wanted to take them, but settled for one as the others needed to be tailored and I didn't have time. I actually looked online to see if I could find one of the outfits I loved to purchase, but it wasn't there. I hate I missed out on not getting it because it was the cutest two piece outfit! The price is the same for any small boutique and I appreciated the fact it didn't ask for a tip, which I would've given Emily and Bo one if it had (I feel bad now that I didn't). So, if you're looking for a chic, welcoming experience, this is the boutique to visit! Thank you Emily and Bo!!!

I worked for this company and I can tell you firsthand that it is a very shady practice and their…read moremethods of acquiring clients are very, VERY predatory. The company downloads thousands on thousands of phone numbers from an online database and sends unsolicited calls to anybody they can early as 8 AM (even calling businesses and renters on holidays) in order to rope in clients by offering a special free estimate (which is standard practice). If you do choose to accept the free estimate, they will try to overcharge and upsell you on any sort of home remodeling projects you're considering due to the small size of the company. From a worker's point of view, the company will hide information on the jobs you confirm and will threaten your job security once a week if you do not get 2 potential jobs per day. This unfortunately leads to the harassment of many Houston citizens through desperate callbacks for months on end and even giving misleading information about the company's status with the Better Business Bureau. There are cockroaches and bugs living throughout their showroom and the owner, contractors, and most of upper management do not speak English as well. All in all, this company is very unorganized yet uncomfortably persistent when it comes to finding clients and will often overcharge clients who are in desperate need remodeling and do not have time or resources to find a second opinion. If you do come in contact with them or happen to receive an unsolicited call, I strongly suggest finding another contractor to save you from a headache/wasting your time. I would even make sure to block the number because they will not stop calling if you don't.
