They always have an English section which is where I headed in this store to find a book by Karin Fossum that isn't going to be available in the US until August of 2013. They did not have it, but the woman behind the counter looked it up for me and they actually went ahead and ordered it since it was super hard to find; I'm having a friend who is visiting next month pick it up for me, and I don't know what I want more- to see my friend or get my book! They have a great selection of postcards and other trinkets. I was very surprised by the game selection in this store. A fun place to browse for sure!

This cute cafe is so cozy and inviting. Love the colors, the books and the board games. Coffeeshop by day. Bar at night. A great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with family and friends.

The bar has plant-themed wallpaper and both fake and real plants scattered about the bar. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating available. They offer mostly premade cocktails, but they do have a few basic options available. They also have a fairly wide draft beer selection and a decent selection of board games to play. If you want to play games and drink beer in Stavanger, then I think Bøker og Børst is the place!
