I visited its food hall (and that's all this review is for) because I wanted to take back some Scottish made whiskey marmalade and/ or local chutneys or shortbread as a momento of my weekend trip. So asked a staff member if there was a local produce section, and there was not! What a pity and opportunity lost. Hence only 3-stars! Note - Their corn chips are excellent, so did purchase 2 bags and no complaints for them! Yelp 86/ 2019

It combines the old with the new seamlessly and has the best selection of shops around. If it's raining, you can get everything you need in here without even stepping foot outside. Heck, if it's blazing sunshine you won't have to step outside. They have every shop you could possibly want in here - new look, french connection, office, Zara, schuh, debenhams, gap and many more. The centre itself is really nice and welcoming and always had a nice atmosphere. There is never any groups of teenage goths standing around either - which I always thought came any shopping centre. The food court is good too, although there could be more seats. They have pizzas, burgers, salads and sandwiches. It's a lovely and clean environment, if I want to go shopping when I'm home I always come here.

You never feel pushed or rushed in this shop, and the staff are always very helpful. The only downfall I have of the shop is that some shoes are up very high and being a shorty, I always find it hard to get to them and end up being so annoyed I just leave them. But apart from that it is an excellent little shop, especially with the bargain section, it's huge, and with such cheap prices, I just feel I'm in heaven when i'm in there.

So my brother did the shopping and I mostly commented on his choices. The lovely gentleman who served us, was the co-owner of the shop along with his father, and he guided my brother to a Tartan pattern called "The Flower of Scotland." If you don't have Scottish heritage, this is a safe tartan to get as its got no affiliation or connection to any clan, and can be worn by anyone who is a fan of Scotland. The tartan colors were a lovely lichen green and a blue the resembled the color of the lochs, so just a very pleasing combination which looked great on my brother so the purchase was made! I also enjoyed checking out the models assembled in full on Scottish traditional dress and so yeah, overall had a nice tune browsing around in this store. Yelp 69/ 2019
