I felt like I was in very good hands and confident in his care and recommendations. He brought up things to consider that have never been mentioned by my current vet in NC. Trust me in that I always do extensive research before I go to any vet and will drive far for the right care. I was even further astonished to get the bill at the end of our comprehensive visit because of how reasonable it was. Alpine is fortunate to have Dr. Dodson. I wish he was close to where we live.

My Great Pyr, Sadie went into…read moreanaphylactic shock just a few miles outside of town and I rushed her to the vet on a Sunday night, called their number and was given an emergency number Dr. Greathouse and Dr. Taylor showed up within minutes and immediately intubated Sadie, and spent 2 hours making sure she got some color back into her gums and tongue. They saved her life. They were professional and personal, and did some highly stressful work while I waited, thinking I was going to lose my 10 year old travel and camping companion. I can't say anything but good about these two and their devotion to their customers' pets!

Pulling our 35 foot trailer with a Great Danes that is telling is she had to go potty every hour was very stressful!!! This vet reminds me of the barn vet that used to come take care or our horses. He tries the least invasive thing first. Which I appreciate! He gave her a couple shots to settle her stomach and then told me a diet I could feed her to help. She was all better with in 30 min of leaving. Plus she loved the "potato soup" concoction that I made for her for 3 days. I'm greatful they got us in same day and it was affordable!

That was 20 years ago…read more Now that I am much older and wiser, it's still plain to see that Andrews is the best within 100 mile radius of my house located in New Mexico. They are the most affordable around. They are no nonsense. If it isn't necessary, they aren't going to bring it up & charge you for it like other vet offices. Most of the communication in the patient exam rooms is between the pet owner and the veterinarian, not the vet techs/assistants. I appreciate this because there's been times when other vets didn't spend much time listening to my concerns. This newish facility is very nice & mostly clean. There is one entrance for checkins. A separate door for exiting which makes things a little easier for large, anxious dogs. They have three veterinarians on hand... When I had to make a tough decision pertaining to my feline last winter, Dr. Hada was there every step of the way. This was a difficult time for me & he made sure I understood everything in addition to making me aware of the appropriate costs included. The entire office was very empathetic to my situation. Dr. Mohr administered vaccinations on my brother's pitbull today (5/9/2023). He was friendly & straightforward. Dr. Nave Culbertson has also helped me understand what was going on with a couple of my furry friends. She's very kind. I will definitely be back. I recommend all of my loved ones to go here! In my life as a pet owner I have never EVER been more disappointed in a veterinary clinic staff. I…read morecalled to see if I could get my Cuban False Chameleon in to see what was going on with her. I explained what was going on (or tried to...was cut off by the person in the phone) when she just stated "we don't have a doctor here today or tomorrow." This was a lizard that I got FROM THEM that was rehabilitated by Dr Todia. You would think they would take an interest. I asked the girl what I was supposed to do? She gave me no suggestions other than call around. To my knowledge, Dr Todia is the only Dr that cares for reptiles in the area. I asked if they could simply make a call to the Dr, explain the situation and maybe call in some meds to try and save her. Her only response was "the doctor would have to be here and we don't have a doctor here." She then started talking to other people and just ignored me while I was still in the phone. She talked to one client and asked if they were checking in and then apparently started chuckling it up with a co-worker and telling her "I told him we didn't have a doctor." She then just hung up on me. Why do I go there and entrust my pets to them if I can't get treatment when we need it most? If they can't help in emergencies, then it just makes them a place to get checkups and shots. Very VERY unprofessional and certainly not very compassionate. Update: I wanted to update my review from yesterday. I received a personal text from Dr. Todia who went above and beyond after finding out about my experience yesterday. She reached out to me while she was out of town to find out how she could help my pet. This is a big deal to me. She mentioned that she would call and inform her tech of what needed to be done so that my pet could be treated. While my experience with staff was very unpleasant yesterday, Dr. Todia (who has always been awesome) redeemed our relationship, and I am very grateful. Don't let one bad experience with staff determine whether or not you use A to Z.
