A sad thing is to purchase a few saddles to learn what is a great, well fitting, comfortable, correct and perfect 'fit' saddle. Out West should be everyone's first saddle experience. Custom built is the cheapest saddle for those serious riders, but the correct balance and position of these saddles makes a better rider - as well as comfort. Quality, beauty, communication and assistance is outstanding with Out West. It would be nice to have more used saddles available but then who gets rid of a good horse or a good saddle? The ride on an Out West is instantly better and what a pleasure knowing it fits my horse. read more

Established in 1996.

We started Out West Saddlery in 1996 to provide high quality, custom cowboy gear. Our focus today is still high quality custom gear with an emphasis on: Saddles that fit today's horses and put the rider in a balanced/centered position that is healthy for the rider and horses back. Saddle Fit and Whole Horse Health Education including distance saddle fit services and setting up custom herb programs to clean and balance horses physically, mentally and emotionally. Meet the Business Owner: Bob B.

Bob is the main saddle maker and engineer who has created a saddle fitting system, trees that fit todays horses and saddle pads that help correct saddle fit issues. Bob used to run a big ranch in Nevada and spent a lot of hours in the saddle. Terri helps customers create their dream saddle and she does evaluations on horses all over the the US via pictures and kinesiology and sets up custom herb programs to help clean and balance their body systems.
