    Sasha's lion cut!

Highly recommend this clinic! Their warm and attentive staff listened to my concerns about my cat, and made helpful recommendations on how to improve her health. They were able to accommodate an appointment on short notice and pricing was very fair. In addition to their wellness services, they also were able to give my cat a lion cut which was very well done and tapered nicely - the cutest cut she has had! Overall, this clinic has a caring, trustworthy communicative team whom I'd certainly recommend. The vet techs there knew how to calm my anxious cat and treated her as if she was their own.

There's a lot to be said for genuine and compassionate customer care. Especially when it comes to your fur babies. I have a rescue bulldog that has required larger procedures I have needed to get done through rescue recommended bulldog vets. It makes me thankful we found and chose Our Pet's Vet as our neighborhood go-to. Daffodil loves everyone there. They always know who she is and have been caring for her since she was 11-weeks-old. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and your entire staff. Daffodil especially loves Bertha. I've been to many, many vets over the years, but here we feel like family.

My Lola at our pet,'s vet.

My first time there and it was a good experience. Dr Kathy Nguyen really took good care of my Lola. Joe the tech and all the ladies working there made me feel like I have been there a bunch of times. I really recommend this place for your dog or cat .

enjoying his free kong toy without having to worry about itchiness

I came here after a recommendation from a coworker. I never have to wait to be connected when calling in and it's not difficult for me to get an appointment within 2wks. If urgent, they will do everything they can to move you up, even give you a ring if there is a cancellation. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. I have a lab who was suffering from sores on his paws which we found was due to allergies. Cathy was great in looking him over and recommending multiple treatment options. After a few tries, we hit gold and all of his issues (infected paws, infected ears, losing fur, overall itchiness) were resolved. Pricing is very fair. They never push products and will recommend alternative sources if they know you can get it cheaper there. We even got a free kong toy last visit that's the new fav.

We've been clients of SOCAH for a long time. I don't recall the name of the veterinary practice…read morehere many years ago, but the building was empty for a while and then SOCAH opened. Could've been them back then but I'm not positive. We used to have Dr Jette who recently left. She was there a couple years I think. She went through one of my cats getting diagnosed with diabetes, pancreatitis and DKA. She was very caring and invested in his well-being. We have also seen Dr Vuong and I believe Dr Kim. Both were great. I'm sure I'm probably forgetting a vet's name, I'm just terrible at remembering them unless I interact with that person frequently. The most recent vet we saw today was Dr Cheron. My two cats have been sneezing, so I wanted to make sure their URI didn't develop into pneumonia. At first she asked if I wanted to treat symptomatic issues or if I wanted to figure out diagnostically what is happening. In other words, do tests to see if this was viral, bacterial, etc. I said I wanted to treat symptoms first, as my one cat having had multiple admissions to the hospital last year, was extremely expensive and I needed to avoid a costly bill as much as possible. She was very nice about it and understanding of my financial wishes. I felt like she truly listened to me and my concerns. She made sure to check with me that everything I wanted to go over was reviewed and discussed. She was very thorough in her examination and explanations. Why do I like this office? Front and back office staff are professional. I've never heard them be otherwise. The vets all truly care for your animal. They listen to you and don't make you feel like your thoughts and opinions don't matter. You are shown an estimate of your exam and suggested tests or treatments, but you are free to choose what you approve and will pay for. They have never pressured me to go with what I could not afford. For that, I am grateful to have a vet office that works with my pet just as much as they work with me.

I was originally introduced to this veterinary hospital by my dog trainer, Vladae from SoCal Dog Training and I'm very glad I followed that recommendation. Over the years, Dr. Wheaton and his team have taken excellent care of my chocolate Labrador, Bruno. Now with my new puppy, Nico, also a chocolate Lab, choosing Alicia Pet Care Center again was an easy decision. Dr. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, he is straightforward and trustworthy which is rare and very valuable. Their extended hours, including full-day Saturdays, make scheduling very convenient. They also offer a drop-off service, which is incredibly helpful when things get busy. Overall, a reliable, a bit pricey, but professional, and honest veterinary clinic. Thank you, Dr. Matthew and team.

She recommends unnecessary procedures while using fear tactics, which is a shame. The backup vet was very incompetent. She recommended the wrong solutions and suggested imaging that cannot detect soft tissue issues. She never asked any history questions, examined the wrong area entirely, and jumped straight to worst case scenarios without justification. She spent only 5 minutes on the consultation and pushed for X-rays when in my dog's case, those weren't even necessary. X-rays are not the right protocol for soft tissue issues. I didn't have a choice as they were the only place open that day. A few days later my dog is completely fine because it wasn't actually that hard to fix. He had full anal glands that just needed to be emptied ... and this vet was pushing for X-rays and bloodwork instead One thing worth mentioning, she was very quick to suggest cancer or tumors without proper justification. What she may not know is that intact male dogs actually have hormonal protection that significantly reduces the risk of certain cancers in that area. A more knowledgeable vet would have considered this before jumping to worst case scenarios. This is basic intact male biology that should be understood before making such alarming suggestions to worried pet owners. That's why I usually just bring my dogs to my regular holistic vets in Irvine and Laguna Beach. To be fair, the regular staff are lovely. The vet tech was excellent, agreed with my decisions, and actually helped. So I do believe their regular vets and staff are much better. This one star is specifically for the backup vet. Please be very careful if they assign you to her.

I came in here for the first time after our previous vet could not identify my cat's issue, and it was only getting worse and costing more money that I did not have. My cat was suffering, and I was on my last legs trying to find someone to help him. Once he was seen by Dr. Nai, not only did she know almost immediately what it was (without all of the tests I spent tons of money on at my previous vet, for them just to tell me it may be a gut issue, which it absolutely was NOT), Dr. Nai was so present and so in tune with my cat, who she had never even met. I couldn't believe that these nurses, doctors, and staff were treating me and my cat like family, and what matters more than ANYTHING to this team is heart, compassion, awareness and healing your baby. You can truly feel the love that they have for these animals emanating through all of the staff. I will recommend this hospital to literally everyone, and I am a forever customer now because I got to bring home my son, who was purring, at ease, and now on his path to healing, all because of this hospital. I was a stranger to them, yet they treated me and my cat like souls who needed guidance and help before anything else. I think that speaks incredible volumes about what this hospital really is about. Dr. Nai, you are an angel sent from heaven. I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart, and whether you know it or not, I will never forget the way you treated me and Small for the rest of my life. Nurse Priscilla, Winnie, Brittany, and everyone involved in my cat's recovery-this is the best gift you could have given me. I drove home with my cat with tears in my eyes of pure gratitude that my son gets to stay beside me, these doctors, and this staff treated me like a human being, not a dollar amount. They treated my cat like an absolute KING and spoiled him silly! They love animals so, so, so much. Honestly, anyone in the area or even further- this is the hospital you want to bring your baby to because regardless of who you are, what you have, or don't have, they are there for you in a time that often is so scary, lonely, and worrying. I wish I could say thank you in a thousand more ways, but with all that being said, thank you for saving Small. I would have done anything imaginable to help him, and they took that burden off my shoulders and took it from there so I could truly rest knowing he was in the best of hands. Every single one of you will always be in my thoughts, and I genuinely feel indebted. Thank you so much, everyone. Thank you so, so much. Love, Taylor and Small

I needed to board my 2 cats for a week and find a new primary vet for my cats. I asked them to do a claw trim during their stay. I've been trimming my cats claws for them at home this entire time without much trouble from either cat. Somehow they managed to traumatize one of my cats! Ever since their stay, my cat has been terrified of me trimming his claws and touching his paws. Additionally, they did a general check-up of my cats during the stay. The vet that did their exams tried to push me to sedate my more timid cat for future visits, saying he "curls up and stiffens to resist their handling." Not lashing out or attacking them, they were upset they had to deal with a cat that timidly cowers. The vet spoke to me as if he should behave more like a dog. This place does not understand cats and does not treat them well. The one positive experience I had here was the ladies at the front desk were polite and informative, but I do not trust the vets here with any cats.

I understand that private practices charge more, and that was a fee I was willing to pay for what was supposed to be superior quality care. I was charged 2x $75 consultation fee, $350 for FAVN, $160 for a USDA endorsed health certificate, $95 for an overnighted Fedex shipping label, $100 for a "Passpaw Application fee," among other things. My flight to Korea is on 5/6/2026 (tomorrow), and I initiated the travel document process with Quail hill on 3/24/2026 as shown on the invoice. As of 5/5/2026 at 3:19PM, I have not only 1) not received the USDA endorsed document, and 2) neither Quail Hill, Passpaw, or Fedex is aware of the exact whereabouts of this USDA endorsed health certificate for. The latest communication I have received from Quail Hill was an extremely defensive phone call from Dr. Mike Morgan at 2:56PM demanding to know what Quail Animal had done wrong (???) in providing care for my service dog, because these documents are now USDA's responsibility (???). I will never be returning to Quail Animal Hospital again with this terrible experience, which is a bummer, because my experience with Dr. Good (who performed a $1500+ dental procedure on the same dog recently) has been pleasant.
