Great for a weekend getaway. The rooms are decorated in New England style and beds are great. But…read morepillows could be much better. The rooms have amazing view if you live in the larger house. The bathroom is fresh and clean even though one lamp was broken and we had some mold in the shower.
This place claims to be a spa resort, but all they have that is included in the stay is an outdoor jacuzzi. There are 3 and only 2 was filled with water, the left one is really bad and should have a maintenance check with panels and other things missing and not working. The middle one is working perfectly with champagne sized bubbles tending to your body.
There's lots of sun here, but you have some shade if needed. The sun deck should have been twice larger. There are complementary drinks like tea, juice and water and a room you can relax in.
There is one person masseur working so be sure to book in advance. This was great according to my dad.
The surroundings are amazing if you like animals, trees and lots of green. There's a couple of trails you can take, we choose the blue-trail which is like 6km. This will post a bit of challenge, especially since there's 3-4 step (45-60 degrees) roads going up. There's also an amazing animal presence, in the woods you will hear a lot of birds chirping and singing like you were in a surround cinema. We saw deer, cows, bulls and horses. Bring comfortable shoes and maybe a bit of water if it's a warm day.
There are also a couple of mountain bike trails and a couple of jumps in the woods.
The food was amazing with a buffet for the afternoon and same for dinner were we had someone working the BBQ while we just filled our plates with everything.
There was some live music and the scenery is amazing from the outdoor terrace.
