To start, the loan officer at Standard Mortgage was slow to respond to my buyer's calls and emails. The mortgage company also failed to provide the buyer with a copy of the appraisal as well as other documents needed, despite having TWO MONTHS to do their jobs. The loan officer blamed the title company and the title company, appraiser and my realtor blamed Standard Mortgage for not having the documents prepared when needed, resulting in a delayed closing! I don't know how a mortgage company that consistently displayed such incompetence at EVERY turn stays in business! This is proof that one company's incompetence can adversely affect EVERYONE involved in the sale of a property! If you are looking for a mortgage company LOOK ELSEWHERE!
