Two weeks later we went to run credit information and we were told that that same house was now at 120,000.00. Sales person gave us some numbers of how much the house would be. She stated with his down payment and land the notes would be around $655.00. She did everything that she could to convince my son to run his credit, which he did because we felt that we could trust this sales person. How wrong we were. On Monday the back calls to tell him the note on that house would be $1135.00. Wow right!!!. $480.00 dollar difference. So I pull out a mortgage calculator to figure out how the bank came out with that note. It looks like they (Atchafalaya) marked the house at 165,000.00 to sent the information to the bank. LIES ALL LIES.... I call to speak to the manager and she informs me that she is sorry that we were given false information and the best she can do is $950.00 per month. Put a stop payment on that check and told them to kiss it. This is not the first time they have done this, as I am also finding other people they did the same thing to. Keep your money away from them and find someone that is willing to work with you and not take everything you have.
