First of all, the restaurant was getting ready to shut down its outdoor lunch trade for the winter and the owner opened just for us: That's what I call service! The seating was literally six inches from the river; little ducks were very attentive to make sure that nothing fell off our plates into the water. The food is regional Piedmontese which is very different from what most people think of when they think "Italian." They offer an antipasti buffet which is outstanding! We decided that we took a leisure walk and hope that the restaurant would have a place for two. Normally, you must make reservations as this is a local treasure and always filled. Well, the staff and "Nona" were so accommodating, they gave us a wonderful table with amazing servers. The food is exactly as described as typical Sardinia food with the touch passion in the food.
