I would never live that one down! But the course in Sibley is great, always well manicured, and fun to play! There is some good long holes, some water, some sand, lots of trees and the greens are true! I used to love running up the #8 hole they called the Mound or fighting with my older sister as to who got to sit in the front seat of the cart! The country club is great too. Good spot for a wedding or a party! I loved getting Shirly Temples from the bar as a kid, and frozen Snickers bars! All in all this is a great spot to play a round of golf!

If you're looking for something outside the norm, check out the Scottish Links, the newest course at Brooks. The terrain is gorgeous and pretty different looking, with rolling hills and bent grass fairways. Personally, I like to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range rather than commit to 18 holes. :) I'm also fond of the red Brooks golf carts and a G&T at Bud's Pub after. FYI, Brooks is the only 4 1/2 Star Golf Digest rated course in the Lakes area. Brooks was also named one of the top 5 courses to play in Iowa by Golf Week Magazine. Play with the locals- golf Brooks!
