Let me premise this by saying I very rarely write reviews. My Saint Bernard "Walter" has recently…read morepassed away and I wanted to leave a review to let the owners Mark and Judy, along with their staff know how appreciative we are for over nine years of great service. Prior to finding Superdogs we had tried three other dog care facilities and each were sub par. We then tried at home pet care but this left our dog alone most of the day. Out of necessity we decided to give Superdogs a go and it turned out to be a great decision. In the previous daycares our dog would put the breaks on and it would take two people to drag him in. With Superdogs he couldn't get through the door fast enough! He suffered from hip dysplasia and the staff were always very attentive to this issue, and made sure he didn't overexert himself. Without me even asking they had a corner set up with additional foam floor cushioning to support his heavy bones. Over the years they have continually gone the extra mile. When I was pregnant they helped me get my dog out of my car whenever they spotted me pull up, if I forgot dogs treats or food they would have it covered or if they noticed my dogs nails were a tad bit too long they would trim them without a thought. Judy the owner e-mailed me a month or so ago asking how Walter was doing as she hadn't seen him in while. We hadn't brought him to Superdogs as he was having issues standing due to advanced age. Judy offered some great advice and It showed me that it is not just a business to them. They just love what they do and care about their clients. Thank you Niamh Campbell

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel people should know about our experience…read more We brought our dog here because it was much closer than the daycare she had been attending. At her previous daycare, everyone loved her and always commented on what a sweet dog she was. Her veterinarian's office has always spoken highly of her as well. We only made the switch because the location was more convenient. Looking back, we should have trusted our instincts. As soon as we arrived, she didn't want to go inside. I actually had to carry her through the door, which is completely out of character for her. When we picked her up, instead of speaking with us privately, a staff member criticized our dog at length in front of other customers. We were told she had to be continually reprimanded, kept on a leash, and eventually spent most of the day alone in a crate. This was shocking to hear, especially since we have never received feedback like this from her previous daycare or her veterinary team. When I tried to explain that this had never happened before and that everyone who has cared for her has always described her as a sweet dog, I was interrupted with, "Will you let me finish?" before the criticism continued. The entire conversation felt condescending and took place in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Whether or not our dog was a good fit for this daycare, the way we were treated was unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy and compassion. We were also disappointed to be told that, after being kept on a leash, she ultimately spent most of the day alone in a crate. That was certainly not what we expected when we paid for a full day of daycare. We understand that difficult conversations sometimes need to happen, but they should be handled respectfully and privately. I hope they reconsider how they communicate with pet owners in the future because no one should leave feeling embarrassed the way we did.

I can't thank Kerry from off leash training in NH enough! Sandy is a 6 month old fox red lab and…read moreall I can say is that she is a new puppy and I couldn't be happier. I was nervous to drop her off for the 2 week board and train, but I can honestly say that it was worth every penny and I am still in shock at how much she learned. When I dropped her off she would pull on the leash and could not be left unattended for any amount of time because she would get into everything! Now she walks by my side (even off leash), sits and stays until released, does "place" on a raised area (stays until released) and no longer jumps at anything and everything that walks near her! She learned 7 commands (sit, down, come, release, heel, place and off). I am so happy :-). I will be recommending Kerry and off leash training to everyone I know who gets a dog. Best decision we made for our girl

Kane is a 72 pound black Lab with lots of energy (yes only 6 months old). He is a very big boy and hard to handle at times. He spent one week with Kerry and is a completely changed puppy. He listens, walks great, and follows all his commands. Kerry took the time to explain everything she did with Kane and even let us practice. I highly, highly recommend this company and Kerry! We will definitely bring our future dogs back and our current dogs for boarding with Kerry! Thank you again!!

Holly can be extremely opinionated and rude. We found that out after we had an emergency and…read moreneeded her to come by which she did. That's one facet of having a pet sitter is if something comes up and u need someone. She lashed out at my wife and I questioning why we didn't have them being watched which we did and she made us explain ourselves that we were away and our flight was late etc etc. we had someone staying at the home and the dogs were Alone for a whole 6 hours when we found out our flight was going to be late. People leave their dogs for 8-10 hours a day while they work. She questioned us like we were children We are 50 year old professional adults and have had dogs our whole life. I think she is rude because she doesn't know who "she" is. She's a dog walke. I'm sure so proud. Have no idea but very happy to never have to use her again. Like we would ever use her again anyways. Just aggressively rude. 2 star because she actually showed up but again she thinks she is "gods gift to animal care" Back to her response to me. All of that info which I didn't take the time to read it all still has zero to do with just how rude she was.

Holly has been our saving grace and most trusted person we have welcomed into our life (and our…read moredogs' lives.) We have had her in our family since 2013. We can rely and trust her to care for our boys at a moment's notice (if something happens) or 6-8 months in advance if we're planning a trip away or a summer concert and it's December. She was with us during the loss of our beloved Ronin this past June 2019 when he passed of lymphoma. She came by on his last day to say goodbye and then made him a beautiful shadow box with all of the photos she had taken of him over the years. We all cried together and she truly does think of your dogs like one of her own. When we are away of course we miss the dogs but we never once worry or wonder how they are when Holly is caring for them. She knows their routines, their personalities, lets us know if they are off, or if they are okay, or sad, or miss us. The boys absolutely lose their mind (in a good way) when she comes to see them which makes us feel so good. I have absolutely no idea as to these "rude" comments from the other poster. Holly is not just a "dog walker." She knows animals, behavior, traits. We give her a key to our home. We trust her in our house and with our kids (lets be honest, our dogs are our kids.) She is so much more than a "pet sitter." She is considered to be a member of our family. Her companionship and love for our dogs is incredible. She is reliable, personable, sends us photos while we are away, lets us know how the boys are, leaves us notes, I could go on. Holly, we thank you. We love you - and the boys love you too!

We've boarded in three different states in multiple facilities, and each time its just full of trauma, and if our dogs could report us to an abuse agency they would do just that. When arrive at Country Club both of my pets are eager to go inside. They are greeted like family members, and they immediately run to the back of the facility so they can go to the outdoor area. We've also done grooming too, and our dogs look great and they are not freaked out. We use Country Club for boarding at least four times a year. If we didn't have them we would have a very difficult time going anywhere without our dogs. Finding Country Club has been a huge difference for us.

The Classes are held upstairs in Chester's slightly cramped American Legion Hall (less than 800sq ft) . There are at least 5-6 dogs in each class. The Trainer's style is very authoritative and absolute, she rushes through the commands and demo's and then has you attempt them in your cramped section of the room divided by extended wire dog pens. Our Dog is high energy and barks throughout her instructions, we were asked to give our pup a 'busy item" to keep her occupied. The busy item (Food and Treat Based) distracts the dog from receiving any meaningful training. All the dog wants now is treats without working for them. The entire class revolves around teaching the dog key words and rewarding them with food. The trainer also hates when you correct your dog with a leash pull or snap, She make you feel like you're abusing your pet by doing so.
