I arrived just after 6 PM for an early dinner. As the outside seating was not available, I thought that the restaurant was closed. It resulted that at 7:30 PM there would be a a private function. The waiter was friendly enough to offer me one of the two remaining tables near the entrance. After perusing the menu I decided to try the ravioli stuffed with mozzarella cream with butter, sage, and pieces of walnut. The waiter was so kind and helped me, choose rosé wine, which would fit the dish.
The ravioli resulted to be one of the best I have eaten in some while. The pasta melted on the tongue and the flavor of the mozzarella cream together with the butter, sage, and pieces of walnuts was a heavenly experience. I might have continued to eat this dish over and over again.
As dessert, I chose the Panna cotta with lemon flavor. It came with dots of chocolate and strawberry cream. The Panna Cotta was firm and tasted great especially when mixing it with the chocolate and strawberry cream.
To finish off the evening, I ordered a local Grappa.
A great experience and a restaurant I will for sure revisit. read more
