The weather was amazing and we immediately made use of their 'porch'. The food was great. We weren't that hungry and simply shared a pizza and each got a salad. When ordering a salad look for the word 'insalate', I got no clue what my friend ordred, but she ended up with a salat ON TOP of a pizza-bread. (Perhaps that was why the waiter was a bit confused by us sharing the other pizza - they probably concluded she was very hungry and/or greedy with her food). All in all, the food was good (the pizza more than great - had tomate, mozzerella, zucchini, aubergine etc) and definitely worth a second visit - maybe on our way back home.

I got the cold platter which I was really excited about since it had Yak meat! My husband ordered the Austria pizza. I tried a bite it was really good! Definitely lots of options for the pizzas and you can get something pretty unique! His had an egg in the middle of it, which I don't think I have seen before in the US. Great place to come for drinks as well! I ordered the gluhwein and the Hugo spritz. I really enjoyed them. Service is excellent here! Our food came out pretty quick too.

We did not realize how far south we had traveled until we walked into the small restaurant, and the individual working was only speaking in Italian (not the German we had been hearing in the other areas we had visited). Given the weird time of day in which we were visiting (between lunch and dinner), the gentleman explained to us that he could only serve us a salad, sandwich or Lasagna. At first thought, we were going to pass, but then when we realized how close to Italy we were, and we knew we had to at least try the lasagna, so we asked for two pieces (to be split amongst the three of us for a "snack"). The gentleman was very nice and split up the "two pieces" and put them on three plates. So glad we only ordered "two pieces," because the pieces were huge! It ended up serving as a meal vs. the snack we were in search for, but well worth it. You could tell the pasta and cheese were homemade, and it was sooo good (took me back to a previous trip in Italy). Well worth the visit if you're traveling in the more remote areas in Southern Switzerland--and a bit cheaper too!
