The history of Oslo is covered mainly two ways:
* How life and the housing stock of Oslo has changed over time--explained thru exhibits, fixtures, pictures, and few videos.
* Life under Nazi occupation during the war. Norway was declared neutral at the time--didn't work out too good.
The challenge of the museum is that 80-90% of the printed explanations were in Norwegian. Very limited English translations.
Museum is in Vigeland Park.
Nice touch: complimentary coffee was offered Christmas week when cafe was closed.
