She went through pictures with me and presented me with a lovely option for my full-head of highlights. Terrence, the salon owner, was friendly and funny, and knowledgeable about the process and recommendations to look after my hair. I was especially stoked with the final result. My hair looks healthy and refreshed, and many people have told me how much this new style suits me - even more than the previous colour that I had before. I will return to Terrence London and recommend the salon and their stylists to others.

Although a little pricier than most hair dressers, I would highly recommend Mario. He co-owns this salon and is hands on with running it. I rarely go in with an idea of what I want but always leave more than satisfied with my cut and colour. Call and book in early, especially if you want a cut from Mario as he's booked out most of the time. Along with a haircut, you are offered a wine and or coffee, a massage (chair) whilst you're getting your hair washed and a team that is genuinely nice. They remember conversations and stories and they make the 3-4 hours I spend there thoroughly enjoyable. Mario is passionate about his customers, people's hair and their experience. Since I've been there, I've seen him change his products about 4 or 5 times and it's always been because he's found something better for his clients. I cannot rave any more about Mario - just go get your hair cut by him!

The Northland saloon has since closed and upon closing I was referred to the new Doncaster location. This stylish hair salon has friendly and talents hair stylists waiting to make you feel like a million bucks. Each time I have stopped in spontaneously or called to book an appointment on the evening or a weekend they have found me a place. The hair stylists I have had the pleasure of dealing with are all happy to offer suggestions and chat while working on my hair. I was happy to sip on a latte and read magazines (a little on the updated side I'm afraid) and the visit ended with newly cut and coloured hair exactly as I wanted it. The last time I visited Valerio I had just locked my keys in my car and was a little stressed out. But after hours in the chair I floated out the door with lighter locks and a lighter wallet. I find them on the expensive side for a shopping centre salon yet as they are reliable and adaptable they can be worth it. I'm not loyal to hair salons but Valerio is a fail safe back up plan.

The hairdresser did not really listen when I told her what type of cut I wanted, neither did she take much notice of the picture I tried to show her. The cut was lazy and took less than 15 snips. Worst of all, it was nothing like what I had asked for. They then insisted that I pay $20 extra for the hair straightening that I did not ask for. They did not let me know it would be an extra charge either. They were rude and I left feeling very unhappy with my haircut and ripped off. Don't go to this salon. It was definitely one of the worst experiences I've had to date. They were unfriendly and only out to swindle money from their customers without any regard to customer satisfaction.

With Sabrina in charge, 3 hours later my hair was transformed. No judgement from her just lovely kind and helpful comments.
