Most places have the almonds crushed up and mixed into the meringues . There are tons of bakeries all over Girona offering yummy treats... But this was the only place I've seen so far (in my two days) where the huge meringues are dipped in chocolate and have a layer of whole almonds inside the meringue ! DELICIOUS!
