This family owned establishment is serving home cooked meals from locally grown produce is to die for. When you arrive, the sweet couple owners welcome you and when you ask menu you are kindly invited to the buffet laid in a table inside kitchen. The food is light and cooked with olive oil and served mostly cold (called mezze). In US you can find 3-4 varieties of mezzes, typically tabbulleh, mutabbel, baba gannush. In Turkey selection is very rich and you will find wide variety which you cannot typically find elsewhere other than Alacati. We were four people and ordered variety of dishes: Kabak Çiçeği Dolmasi, ic pilav, enginar, mantarli et sote (hot served lamb stew with mushrroow with cheddar crust), yogurt with sevketibostan( a local green which you can probably only find around here). This restaurant is distant to crowded, noisy streets therefore served a fine relaxing dining experience makes you feel like you are guests in the house of a local family. We went the same place two more times during our stay in Alacati. We found Prices are same or less than any other Alacati restaurant. I'll raise a complaint about that to the municipality right after this comment. After all these comments of mine, if you still want to go; their mezes are not fresh and original. Fava and sea food mezes are fake. In other words they are not freshly cooked, their sea food are frozen.
