My husband and I have purchased our last 4 vehicles with Orr Chevrolet and have enjoyed the experience. The service center, however, is another story. I made an appointment tonhave the windshield wiper fluid system checked and it took them 2.5 hrs to come back with an estimate over $700 for spark plug replacement and tire rotation, etc that I did NOT ask for. I declined everything but the wiper fluid situation and spark plug replacement. 5 hrs later my car was ready for pickup and the total bill for labor was over $500 not including parts! In my opinion this is highway robbery!. If they are charging $100 per hour am I to believe it takes 5 hours to replace 4 spark plugs and replacement of the windshield pump?! It's hard to know for sure... But if the service issue outcome ends up being questionable more than once, it makes one begin to wonder. I have used this location for many years to service my vehicle. In the past couple of years, I've had a couple of different situations where the service issue for my vehicle was not diagnosed correctly (in my opinion) and it ended up costing me more money than what it (presumably) would have. Was it on purpose? Was it really a wrong diagnosis? I have no way of knowing and I am not suggesting that it is or was. But I am saying is that two times in a row within two years I feel that I had a misdiagnosis on a service issue that cost me a lot of money. Absolute horrible customer service. Our 2025 Chevy Equinox started having all kinds of issues, safety concerns, etc. We were told it was a "known issue", the part is on back order, they have no idea when the part will be available. They refused to work out a loaner vehicle even though the car was deemed unsafe to drive, by them. Said the best they could do is put us on a wait list, meanwhile we are down a vehicle with no estimated time on when it will be fixed. Were told we would just have to pay for a rental, and they could reimburse us $40/day for rental but that's the best they can do. Absolutely zero help. read more

I want to start off by thanking the entire ORR team for the service they provided me with. Wade Watkins was my sales Rep. and was very friendly! He wasn't pushy. I felt comfortable through the whole process of the purchase of my new vehicle. I wouldn't have even thought of going in to look at a car, if it weren't for Gil sending me a letter in the mail. My wife and I just purchased a 2018 YUKON XL Denali about 1.5 months ago. We had a issue with the vehicle and took it in for repair. They replaced the motor mounts and found that there were other issues with the ball joints that was causing issues with the tires to wear on the inside. The service tech asked the manager if they could work with us and come back with a offer of 50% off of a $1400 bill. This is not ok... We have only made 1 payment at this point!!! All I needed was a switch for the drivers seat... a twenty dollar part that takes less than 3 minutes to install. They charged me 75 for the part and two hours for labor and a diagnostic fee!! If you want to buy a car, this is the place to go. They gave me a really good deal on a new Chevy Spark. However, the mechanics don't get anything done. My Chevy Malibu had a recall on the power steering so I took it here because it's the only place I can take a Chevy car to get recalls in the area. After "replacing" the power steering for free, it only took three years for the part to completely break so yeah, they didn't replace that part. In short- the sales team is great, but don't trust the mechanics to actually do anything to your vehicle. read more

I recently had my car in their shop for warranty work that took nearly two months to complete. When I got my car back I noticed that it was completely empty. All of the documents in the glove box were removed as well as everything else in the cabin and trunk. When I reached out to the dealership they claimed to have no knowledge of what had happened to the items. I then was directed to the service manager who asked me to submit to them an inventory of items missing from the vehicle. After several more weeks without hearing anything from them I contacted them yesterday and the service manager today returned my call. He then told me that he had talked to the owner who said that they were not responsible for the missing items and would do nothing to compensate me. I had some fairly expensive things in the car including my prescription sunglasses that I use while driving along with all of my insurance paperwork, car title, registration, and previous service records. Not only am I out of the valuable items but this exposes my personal information as well. My guess is that an employee cleaned it out getting it ready to put on the lot thinking it was a trade in because not only valuables were missing EVERYTHING was. Yet still they seem to have no interest in investigating this matter further nor in taking any responsibility for the losses incurred by me. I was hoping to resolve this in a civil manner with the dealership but after their absolutely unacceptable handling of this matter I have forwarded the information to the better business bureau and to my attorney and will be taking legal action. Needless to say I STRONGLY recommend against taking your vehicle here. I hope that this serves as a warning to anyone considering it. read more

I made appointment a week in advance which was agreed upon, dropped truck off night before, filled service form out in its entirety explaining 2nd time what was wrong with it, then called 2 days after I dropped it off and they hadn't looked at it which is the day I told them I would pick it up, then called Saturday my service provider was off told me to call back Monday, after a small motivational conversation they decided to go look for it, couldn't find it in my name, then admitted they hadn't looked at it. My preference and where I bought the truck was Superior in Siloam Springs and I'll drive the thing up there to get it looked at. They have been great and I've bought 15 plus new vehicles and treated great. They are honest up front and do what they say they will. This place can't even look at a truck in 3 days even when it was scheduled and only supposed to be there one day. They just had to assess the situation and call me. It's 4 miles from my house which might be convenient if they had a clue and was organized. They don't communicate and are just lost. Better sit and wait on it or they will lose your vehicle and forget about it. read more

I bought my 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from ORR in November 2019 and it was an awesome experience. No pressure and I looked at several vehicles that were brought to me personally to look at. There was a noise in the rear of the Equinox and it was the shocks and was repaired immediately. I received the most AWESOME 2020 calendar with my picture and my new car, as a surprise for Christmas. Now, today, June 1, 2020 I took it in for my 1st oil change. They did the multi point inspection, rotated the tires, and did the oil change and it took no more than 45 minutes. No charge because it is a part of my purchase bonus. They did not try to make me do additional repairs, etc. Today service advisor was Joe Gillespy. 5 star review! read more

I won't usually write reviews unless I am very unsatisfied or extremely happy with service. I will say I'm completely dissatisfied with my service at ORR Chevrolet. While I know the economy is insane right now there was no reason for me to be pressured and talked to the way I was. My husband and I were looking into trading in our car because it was too small for our family. I thought maybe I'd look at getting something a little cheaper since I'm currently not working and finishing my last year of school. At the time I had a 2021 Kia Sorento and I was looking into trading it for a 2016 Ford Explorer. While I know that interest rates and loan times vary based on year of the car this guy come back to me with an insanely ridiculous car payment. He said the payment on the Explorer we were looking at would be around 750!!!! It was priced at just over 27000 dollars. That was literally 13 dollars less a month than my current loan which was for 47000. I told him absolutely not. Why would I pay the same monthly payment for something that is 6 years older than what I currently have and with far less features. That makes absolutely no sense. He kept saying stupid stuff like "well think about it like this, just long enough until you're finished with school and start working again." Now tell me how in the world getting that car would have benefitted me in any way shape or form financially. It would not! I told him that the payment was insane and that unless he could get it to 500-550 there was no way. He kept saying, " well if we get it to 700 will that be ok?" No dude no! I said no! At this point he was very obviously getting angry at my husband and I. He claimed that interest rates had gone up 2 points federally and that it was impossible to get the payment that low because the numbers didn't add up. I knew that was complete garbage and I wasn't going to accept an interest rate over double what my current car was. He then said well what if I tell you this is your only option. I said umm it's not my only option I can keep the car I have. Needless to say we declined that garbage deal and in doing so he thought it was completely appropriate to comment "well I knew you weren't actually in the market when you come in". Oh absolutely Mitchell (yes that is his name) I spent 45 minutes looking at a car and financing options with a toddler to waste your time dude. That was my utmost goal of the day. Let's go to Chevy and ruin a sales man's day. No sir I'm just not interested in getting ripped off thanks. At this point I was so mad at the way I was treated I wanted to prove a point. We went over to the Honda dealer told them what happened and asked if they can do better. I ended up with a brand new Honda Pilot for a lower payment and guess what that interest rate he claimed couldn't be any lower yea it's a 3.9 percent. Just watch yourself! I know salesmen are trying to earn a living but customer happiness and loyalty is important as well. Plus it was super unprofessional to get visibly mad. I likely will not return to ORR after that and we have purchased 3 vehicles with them previously. I wasn't desperate to trade in my car and a simple I'm sorry this one doesn't work for you, we don't have any other third row SUVs but we can keep in touch and let you know when we get something else would have made all the difference. If that's how it would have gone I would have went home and not looked elsewhere. However, I'm glad I did because the service I received was AMAZING at Honda! read more

Bought 2017 Malibu two weeks ago.. Heard an undermined noise under the hood.. dropped off to service.. after investigation and calling GM engineering it was determine that my cylinder was hitting the wall of the motor.. As of this date.. they will not replace the car - this is a new car under 900 miles.. glad I bought extended warranty.. at this point in time.. the license plate cover that states Priority customer.. is a gimmick.. I had seen a Buick enclave at Smith Chevy Buick before the hailstorm and they had it listed for 21995 after the hailstorm I went in to test drive it and asked for the best deal possible and the salesman quoted 22500! I was so mad. He and I discussed the price over the phone before I ever came to the lot. When I got angry and was leaving he asked so do you wanna pay the 21995. This car had hail damage all over it. And they had the nerve to raise the price. What terrible business !! I suggest going to Everett Chevrolet-Buick in NWA. I bought a newer better priced Enclave from them the next day. read more

Took my vehicle in for a repair to be made under a TSB issue for the power steering. Was contacted saying the steering gear (rack) was leaking and needed to be replaced. I called GMC customer service to explain that it was the power steering pump failure (added stress to the components) that would have caused any other steering leaks anyway and a case was opened. Someone from Smith was supposed to call me. Nobody ever did (they obviously don't care). Did not authorize any repairs and picked up the vehicle to take it elsewhere. Service technician pressurized the system and the only leak was from the power steering pump which is what the special coverage entailed. Took it to another dealership to do the repair and no leak from the rack/gear was found! Either very poorly trained technicians or just trying to rip me off. Either way, I will never recommend or even step foot on their lot again. read more

I have been taking my Chevy Cruze to you guys for anything that needs to be done to it. Well the last time I came in for an oil change and tire rotation your technicians lost some of my lug nuts and caps so they just put whatever lug would fit into the spot to tighten the tire well they didn't put the caps back on some of them I have 3 or 4 missing off each tire and when I called you all out about the caps you wanted to argue with me or blame it on the place where I purchased my new tires. Firestone where I bought my tires from didn't lose anything as a matter of fact he is the one that pointed out that wrong lugs in my tires before they even pulled my car into the shop. I know I'm only a little fish in the big Chevy pond but you have lost all my business and with this bad review it will make people hopefully think about you and how you handle problems that your service department causing, plus word of mouth is very powerful. I will not even come back to you to purchase a new car I will go the Rhodes Chevy when I buy a new Chevy and they will doing all my work on my car also. If you all really cared about all your customers you would have fixed the problem that you all caused without any questions and without trying to make us pay for half of the problem. You lost my wheel lug caps and you should have replaced all of them. Your service department had already made me mad the last time I was in there and now this so goodbye, don't call me and I won't call you. read more
