Blick is a shared office space frequented by Start Ups. If you have a start-up business and you are hoping to establish a base I would look no further than Blick Studios. Conveniently located within a stone throw of Queens Uni it's a buzz of activity. I rented a desk at Blick and this provided my burgeoning business a base and more importantly a trading address. I was provided with a key for the building so I was flexible in terms of the hours I worked. I also learnt so much from being based there - every other person in my office was a dynamic creative and the studio proprietors encouraged networking events, this was less of an office and more of a knowledge sharing base. Rent for a desk was relatively reasonable when you consider it included wifi, electricity and warmth. So if you are a Belfast creative and you're building a business from your bedroom I would suggest you slink out of your pyjamas and head down to Blick.

I went here yesterday for a street art stencil workshop…read more It's a bright open space in the centre of the cathederal quarter them do a wide range of wprkshops The staff are pleasant and welcoming. There seems to be a wide range of workshops and classes run The spiral staircase to the studio did leave me feeling a tad dizzy. But overall it's somewhere I would go to again.

Was in here today taking part in a screen printing course…read more It's upstairs off the street so the door can be hard to spot. It's close to The Strip Joint. I was in here form 2-5pm and came out frozen. We here in a room with all the tables and sofas etc pushed back. Towed computer tables. Above us was a balcony with more work space. This place is a shard space for many creative things.
