Our household genuinely puts a lot of effort into first spending our money on M&M Hardware &…read morebusinesses like it whereby being one of our local mom-n-pop family-ran type of stores which everyone should be supporting before the large chain stores However, it came to our attention after having called M&M that there's now some incompetent people working for them. We had previously bought an item from their store, which from a lot of searching, was the only place who had that particular brand and model of it. Since me & my husband are disabled & cant drive 11 miles into town to stop at M&M Hardware to see if they still have the item, we found that M&M has a online site where we can search through their items & purchase them. We ended up not being able to find the item we searched for but like with many other sites that this happens on, we figured it was just a matter of us not using the right keywords for it to come up in the search results. So my husband called their store & a man answered, my husband told him the problem, & the store worker said he knows nothing about their online site. We were shocked that employees wouldn't even know anything about their own website where customers are obviously going to be visiting & would be having at least GENERAL questions that employees should be able to give direct answers. Regardless, the store worker told my husband that he "just needs to come in to the store & can look for the item that way" My husband politely informed of him being paraplegic & unable to navigate his wheelchair into town, & also wouldn't be sensible to drive all the way in to the store just to see if they have an item when a store worker could see if its listed on their own website where we could then view it ourselves & consider purchasing it. Immediately after finishing saying that, the store worker said "cant help you" & then we heard a beep sound whereby shortly afterwards that was followed by the sound of the call having been hung up on us. We tried calling back 3 times until finally someone picked up the phone. It was a lady who we told her of the situation that we just experienced & although she was very polite, she downplayed the instance & then proceeded to tell us that she also didn't know anything about their own website & she would have someone else call us back. Well that issue was never resolved however we did find a few items on their site, placed 3 separate orders, and then had nothing but hassle with the orders. Was able to get a family member to pick up the orders for us. The 1st order was picked up but then we kept receiving notifications for a few days that we need to pick up that order. The 2nd order was picked up and tried to pick up the 3rd order however after our family member got there he was told they have no record of the order. They were even informed of the order showing right on our account at their website and we also have the email confirming the order. We're tired of the hassles, and after we purchase the last couple items that we have to get there because we cant find it anywhere else, we likely wont be buying anything else there

Every single time- the employees are always so friendly & helpful to answer any question we have!! On today's visit Melissa & Greg both went above and beyond to help us look for a specific product my saw on the Ace App. My husband had done extensive research for a brand specific product based on consumer reports, reviews etc. When we didn't see the product on the shelves, Mellisa offered to looked their back stock inventory. (Unfortunately the computer system said the didn't have any in stock) However, Greg went above and beyond & offered to search the back in person! He came back with the exact size combo product we were looking for! It truly made our day as we could keep the home project ball rolling! This was the worst I was ever treated in a store. I just moved back to the area and have been to…read morethe store many times. I went in yesterday to get some roofing supplies and a few other things and I asked after I had my stuff picked out if they had a restroom. The young girl told me yes they do and asked this one boy to show me where the restroom was. So he took me back and it was in the employee only area, which I never thought of anything about it because they approved me to go back there. A man exited the restroom who I thought when I first entered the store that he was homeless because he was standing outside the door, the tank top on and very grimy looking. And he asked me what I was doing back there and I said oh I just want to use the restroom and he said we don't have public restrooms you're not allowed to back here. And I explained that the girl told the young boy to show me where to go. And he just kept insisting they had no public restrooms. And I said OK and made my way out of the back of the store and as I'm leaving, he's still yelling at me we don't have public restrooms here. I don't know who told you that. And I explained to him again. It was the young girl that told Me and he continues to yell at me as I'm walking up to the front desk with all these people around, embarrassing me in front of these people making it seem like I was some kind of a thief. And I looked at the girl and said he won't let me use it. And she said who and I said this guy here won't let me use the restroom and you can keep your products I'll go elsewhere. I will never step a foot in that store again and it's a shame cause it's very convenient for me to use that store because I live so close. I don't know who the guy was like. I said he looked like a grimy homeless guy.
