I went there April 1 2023 and ordered fish and chips. I was not certain if one of the sauces tasted off. But reci received my answer an hour later after leaving the restaurant. I got violently ill for the rest of the day and evening. I suspect cross contamination. Won't go there again. The drinks are watery and have little taste. Hello! 2 months ago we went for dinner with the family, there were 5 of us and it wasn't very busy but the service has gotten so bad we havnt returned! We watched our drinks sit on the counter, our food took over 45mins the GM came out and and gave us a discount but the waitress was crying and the manager was apologetic but now we go somewhere else for the family night out! Watery drinks from sitting so long! Slow service for the next drink! Orders took too long! If you are looking for somewhere to eat do not choose here! WENDYS has more curtious staff! Wanted to go, but not baby friendly. Went in with a table of 8 plus an 8 month old, left due to no high chairs on the premisses. We have been to the Langford location in the past and enjoyed it, however now you have lost us as customers. You are not a fine dining restaurant or a bar. hello! i went to this site on April 25 to join some friends for a few drinks. we went a table and sat there for approximately 20 minutes before we had a waitress come and take our drink order. the restaurant had maybe 15- 20 other ppl in there with 4 different waitress'. My friends departed, and i went and sat at the bar and tried to greet the bartender. saying "oh hey! long time no see" as i had not been to this location in a few months. he replied... oh what in the 10 minutes you walked in here? i was surprised in his response and said oh i'll take one more please. he then continued to ignore my service and finally came over to me almost 45 minutes later and asked if i wanted anything else. i said no thank you just the bill which took another 12 minutes for him to bring over to me. We were a little worried by the negative reviews but had no choice as I was a part of a group. Our entire group (13 people) had a wonderful time. The restaurant was not very busy so they allowed us to choose our tables. The server was very nice. The assistant GM came to check on us. I had fish and chips. Surprisingly the Haddock was not fresh from the ocean but taken out of the freezer. It was decent but not outstanding. Most people were satisfied but nothing memorable. We are regular customers and have always loved their food until this recent go around where their menus items have changed - they've removed some favourites and the some of the dishes- the portion sizes are half what they used to be but still at the same cost- not very impressed. read more

Just left this restaurant and I must say I am dissatisfied and disappointed. We were a small group of 7 kids and 6 adults. Kids sat at a different table. Kids all ordered off the kids menu that stated all orders came with soup, salad or fries. Waitress said bottom two choices do not. It doesn't say that anywhere on the menu. It also states for an extra $1.50 they get a drink. When the bill came, every child was charged $3.50 for a drink. When pointed out, the waitress said she told the kids they were ordering a big drink because the kids drink was small. Kids say, they were not informed of an extra charge. I mentioned that if kids are ordering off a kid menu and the parents are obviously paying, you should tell the parents you are charging $2.00 more each. She was unapologetic and seemed miffed. Nachos were just ok with very little cheese and slightly burnt. Terrible service at this location. We went in for the happy hour special which runs from 3-6pm. We arrived just after 5:00pm and waited for about 20 mins for a server to finally come to our table. We ordered a couple pints from the happy hour menu. The waitress took another 15 mins to come back to tell us that they were having trouble with a lot of their taps at the bar. One of them being the one we ordered...We asked her which taps were working. Another 10 mins later, she came back with a list a of the taps that were pouring. We picked a different beer on that list and asked if they would honour the happy hour price? She said she would have to go ask the manager. Another 15 minutes passed and still no beer and the server at this point was just standing by the bar talking to other servers while the East Indian owner was hiding in the kitchen. It was... ok. Service was efficient but not friendly at all. She was there and checked on us regularly but no smile, no... I don't know how to describe it other than flat even a little short/impatient. The food was okay but nothing special. Nothing you couldn't get at any diner for a more reasonable price. Not a good experience. Duncan is a little short on decent eateriers but there are alternatives to this place and I won't be back. read more
