OIPs (Original Italian Pizza) are common throughout central PA. What is special about this one? First, the sauce. There are several options for pizza in Milton. If the sauce on the pie is important, this place has the best. The flavor is sweet with a subtle zing; not overly sweet. Then, the bread. OIPs make their bread on site. The bread is hearty and shaped like a flattened football. When the sandwich is made on the fresh, still warm bread, mmm ..mmm. Can't be beat, even by that place that Jared likes do much. Most important, the reason this place stands above other local pizza places, is the owner - Mario. In fact, I call the OIP "Mario's". He is there almost everyday. He knows his regulars. He takes care of you. If I forget to say "no hot peppers" he knows to not put them on anyway, because he knows me as more than just another customer. And this is true for everyone who orders regularly. If you are not a regular, the service is still fantastic. Prices have gone up over the past year. Most sandwiches come in over the five dollar mark. Some might balk at the price, but it is comparable to other sandwich shops in the area who spread the same amount of meat across 12 inches. The pies (pizzas) are more expensive then the national chains, but they are also larger and taste much better. My first pick for pizza when I am home (Milton) will always be the OIP. read more

Called in a pizza for pickup as a backup plan. We ordered a "supreme" which they said was the OIP classic and listed off all the ingredients to see if that's what we wanted. Went to pick-up the pizza and the employees were too busy talking to each other to say more then the order total to us. Got the pizza home and it was COVERED in mushrooms, something they did not list when we ordered the pizza. The pizza was also very soggy. Will not be ordering from here again. read more

My aunt just ordered food to be delivered. When it was delivered, she paid for it and handed back the receipt. While she was reaching into her pocket for change to tip her, the driver rips the receipt into pieces, throws it on the floor, and says, "That's for not giving me a tip." Storms out. My aunt calls the restaurant to speak to the manager and who picks up but the driver. While she's handing the phone over to the manager, she tells him "I think it's the church." My aunt tells him what happened and he says, "Well all you had to do was tell her you had her tip." Incredibly unprofessional. Incredibly rude. The food is good and restaurant is clean. If thats all your looking for, this is the place for you because your coustomer service expierence will lack. I refuse to patronize an establishment who puts someone on phones who has no etiquette. We have delt with her rudeness thus far because the food is good however, at the rate at which our orders are wrong and after our experience today we are offically done with the place. After enduring the rude person on the phone and having to pick up our own order because they don't start delivering until 4pm, half of our order was left on the shelf and the other half was wrong. When my husband reentered the establishment to retrieve the rest of our $40 order, instead of being met with a smile and a sorry for the mistake he was met with a waitress who didn't leave her seat but instead rolled her eyes at him. We spend a lot of money here and are always pleasant (think 3 $40/$50 orders a week). There is no excuse for being rude to coustomers who are not rude to you. Most times their delivery orders are spot on but some times they are not so great especially when the lady with the cigarette voice takes the call-in order answers the phone then the orders are messed up. On occasion she messes up the order and we don't get what we ordered. High-co-dis for the delivery guy, he does a great job, I don't know his name but he is awesome. Wings not bad. Just hot sauce. Not special. Pizza kinda bland. Hardly any sauce. Not great for $15. Extra .75 for Ken's blue cheese and .50 for a refill on a 1.99 drink! Not a good value! DO NOT ORDER THE PARTY PIZZA. It was UNCOOKED in the middle and BURNT on the edges. I called the restaurant to get my money back and the owner refused. He said he could not give me my money back because he is not a franchise. How does that even make sense? He also said he did not believe me that it was uncooked and said I would have had to bring it back in so that he could inspect it. I ORDERED CARRY-OUT FOR A REASON! How was I supposed to get it back in without a car? I told him he could have come back to the house and he just kept droning on and on about bringing it back in. He obviously did not understand my clear voice when I said, "I do not want another pizza because this one took an hour to get here, I would like my money back." Whatever happened to good customer service? I really would have liked to have tried their other pizza when I visit Milton next time because I have heard good things. However, after a very rude and potentially sickening first-time experience with this restaurant, I will never venture back. I've been here many times and never had any issues. The main waitress, an elderly lady makes me laugh with her personality. The food is always great and I feel as if I can always count on having a delicious meal anytime I stop in or order out. Wandered in by accident because the cafe next door only serves beer and bags of chips.. The place was clean from what I saw. No paper menus so I was standing there staring at the front of the counter and was told that it's on top of the counter too. Thankfully no one else was at the counter or a line.. Found it strange that toppings on a sub that aren't listed are $.50 extra. This means if you get the OIP steak and cheese, you pay extra for lettuce, tomato, mayo. I specifically asked because I'd never seen that before unless you get bacon or another premium topping. The wings come in quantities of 10 or 50 so you either order something else or have 20 leftover. My waitress was really nice, brought tons of napkins because I bought wings. Ordered 10 wings, sauce was the same thing you get anywhere that's not a chain. They were more dry than I like and generally I prefer them on the dry side. Ordered the steak and cheese with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Left the oil off. It was piping hot, the bread was amazing. Top 3 on my list of subs. Waitress brought the bill without asking me if I wanted anything else, which is a pet peeve of mine. I asked about dessert and was told that they had cannoli. Asked what it was and got an underwhelming explanation; ordered it anyway. Ordered the cannoli and they didn't have any in the refrigerator out front. Waitress asked a guy behind the counter because "he wants one" (didn't enjoy being called out for actually ordering food) and the guy behind the counter seemed miffed about having to get one out of the back. My husband and I lived in Milton for almost a year right next to the OIP. We loved it. We tried many pizza places in and around Milton and Lewisburg, PA and this place was by far our favorite. Too be honest, it's still our favorite and we moved to Danville. The pizza just tasted delicious every time and I love that they serve pierogies now. The staff is also friendly and there are a few Italians even :) The OIP in Danville just isn't the same. We occasionally drive to this one just because it's the best in our minds. read more

Made an order for delivery. The guy on the phone acted like he didn't know what a pepperoni pizza was. Then said the delivery guy would have to call back because he didn't know the street we lived on when we had deliveries from here before. 2 hours later our food arrives barely warm and the fries were a soggy mess. We have gone here for years, and recently the last few orders have been messed up. At first we thought it happens and never called to get our orders fixed. Today, we ordered 9 hoagies, called the order in almost 6 hours ahead of time, thinking it would help them out. We picked our order up, and when we got home for the party we realized we were missing a hoagie. When we called in, we could hear the guy in the background yelling that he gave us all our food which wasn't true. He refused to talk to me, instead making his other staff relay the message while he yelled in the background. It's really sad, but they've lost our business along with a few others, due to their ignorance. If they wouldn't have been rude on the phone, apologized and offered to fix it... We would probably go back. But instead we will go to Marlins, la casa, or even better Amador. At least there we know we will get better customer service. read more

My family and I were staying in the area and were looking for a pizza place that delivered instead of the usual chain restaurants. OIP was recommended to us so we figured we'd give it a try. I called in our order and was incredibly shocked at how unprofessional the woman was who answered and proceeded to take my order. I ordered a chicken finger dinner with buffalo sauce on the side, a large cheese pizza and three extra crispy slices of pepperoni pizza. You would have thought I had asked for something more complicated. The woman asked me what I meant by buffalo sauce and that they had hot sauce. I asked what sauce they use on their buffalo chicken pizza (buffalo sauce and, say, a tobasco hot sauce are very different) and she said she didn't know (what?!!). The cheese pizza was easy, no issues there. Then I asked what size the individual slices were. She was, again, rude and said, "I don't know". I ordered three anyway and asked them to be extra crispy. She told me they couldn't do that. Unfortunately, one of my kids only likes extra crispy pizza, and didn't need a whole pizza, so I politely cancelled the order to which she responded, "YOU'RE A WIERDO!" and hung up. Classy. read more
