Her energy, kindness, and passion are incredible. This was so much more than a facial--it was an experience that touched my heart. I left feeling refreshed, lifted, glowing, and with my heart full. Down the long hallway there's several doors and each one is a private massage room along with a foot massage rooms that are for tandem from site so you don't have a whole crowd of people lined up one next to the other. That already is a plus. The place is clean tidy it smells good you feel very welcome when you walk in and the prices are comparable to those others around. Mindy gave me at my foot massage for an hour and proceeded my back with my feet soaked which is the usual ritual. She then sat me back on the very comfortable chair and I dozed off as she massaged and gave me reflexology on my feet, which was absolutely wonderful. She had a strong grip and that's my preference. She kept asking me " is this okay this is okay" and of course it was okay so that was a little distracting at times. But she was very sweet about it I was just in deep slumber. I'm definitely coming back here also because the fabulous Asian market next door!

I have been coming to this place for 12 years, but after today it hovers closer a 2 star review…read morethan 5. While there are a few very good massage therapists here, it has become clear that they do not honor their call -ahead appointments. Over the last few years, I have been double booked at the same time as somebody else numerous times. When I am the first of the two booked clients to get there, I get the massage, but my massage therapist has had to leave the room a few minutes into the session to address an angry customer in the waiting room who arrived only to find they have been double booked and have no session. Today, I arrived to find out my therapist was in a session and would not be available for another hour. So I reluctantly agreed to give someone I don't know a try, and that was a big mistake. She took forever to even come to the room, and then when she did and I laid down, nothing happened for at least a minute and so I looked up and saw her standing there scrolling her phone!!! She continued for nearly a minute and I started to sit up and she exclaimed, "What are you doing? Relax, I will do my best." I laid back down. Then...nothing again. I looked up again and she was scrolling her phone again! At some point she started and the massage was weak. I asked her to add more strength and she sighed with exasperation and did not make any change. I then got up and said I would reschedule. She stormed out. As I was getting dressed, the other woman from the front desk who had convinced me to give that first therapist a try came in and offered to do my massage herself. I agreed and laid back down. Thankfully, she actually had good strength and was respectful and professional. The chaos that occurred today was ridiculous. This is not the first time I have arrived at Asiami to find out that my therapist was double booked. Even worse, the first therapist I was set up with today was extremely rude and not even competent at the job when she finally did start. I am dumbfounded as to why Asiami would hire someone that is so unprofessionaI. If I have another experience like today's at Asiami, I may permanently take my business elsewhere. Please stop double booking your call ahead appointments!!!

Edit: UPDATED REVIEW…read more I was in contact with the leadership team from Now Massage and we discussed the concerns. The leadership team was very responsive to my experience. I went back this morning for another massage with another therapist, as my initial appointment may have been a one/off experience. And it DEFINITELY was a one off experience. Today I was with Ivan. What an amazing massage. He was on point from the initial meeting through the end of the massage, continually checking in and working through the knots in each muscle group I had tightness in. It left me feeling refreshed and wished I could have spent more time with him. Definitely a place to try when in Miami or go to frequently if you live here. And while they have a vast team, I recommend Ivan. I look forward to my next massage with him. Previous massage: The massage was just okay. The massage felt more like using pressure point rather than a traditional massage. I did clarify with the staff that I selected the correct massage package and they confirmed I did. The facility itself doesn't have extra amenities like a steam room or sauna, but they did an amazing job decorating the massage area! As others mentioned it is a common space area, with curtains in between each treatment area. It certainly provides privacy but if you are someone who must have a room with walls and a door this may not be your place. The price I thought was average for the massage and facility. I did add a star because the front desk team was genuinely concerned about my experience and did a good job in trying to make it as right as they could. This could be a one off for the massage since others rave about it, but this is what I noticed.
