This place is quite alright! We'd done our cinema smuggling run at Tesco, and with just half an hour, we decided to make it a mission to munch as much as we could in the time we had.
We were seated quickly by a friendly waiter who took our drinks orders. It was a little dark, but comfy. We headed straight for the plates, the vegetarian among us was able to fill up happily too. There were quite a few tubs of just sauce, and a hell of a lot of deep fried things, so if you like that, you're set.
There's a double sided counter a few metres long, with a reasonable range of dishes, I guess encompassing the crowd pleasers of English Chinese food, nothing particularly exciting, but what you would expect. Puds are an ice cream machine, standard weirdly stiff chopped up for you already jelly, fruit, frozen cheesecake/gateaux/eclairs, and heartbreakingly for me, toffee pineapple instead of banana fritters.
All round, it's not a bad place if you just fancy a good old msg hit. I'd go here again. read more
