Timothy is a GIA certified appraiser so I knew his knowledge and appraisal insights would be up to the GIA's rigorous standards. Timothy spent a good deal of time looking at the ring through his microscope, studying it's characteristics and taking notes and photographs of the details of the ring. He researched similar pieces online and concluded that I received a very good deal from the jeweler I purchased the ring from. Timothy's appraisal gave me the peice of mind that the ring was within a few hundred dollars of what the jeweler claimed the replacement value would be. I gave Zenith very little lead time, and they actually did do an terrific job of putting price tags on everything, but then I kept finding more stuff to sell, and it was my fault if they couldn't keep up. Also, the type of items on sale reflects Zenith's willingness to help all kinds of people, not just the ultra-wealthy whose homes are full of priceless antiques. My own "estate" had a mix of one-of-a-kind items from all over the world and normal, everyday stuff I'd originally sourced at Home Goods. Zenith did an excellent job with the staging. Feedback from people who attended the sale whom I met later was very positive, both about my collection and the friendliness of Zenith's staff. I checked out five or six estate sale companies before I landed on Zenith. The first company I hired quit on me because the owner found me too demanding, and I had to fire the second for stealing. Zenith was a breath of fresh air. Owners Lisa and Ken are sophisticated, personable, and incredibly hard-working. As with another reviewer here, they offered a "blow-out" sale on a second weekend when not everything sold on my original dates. They also helped me with clean-out for no additional charge.
