I've been going to her for years, but after I became a mom I needed an appointment last minute and couldn't get in with her fast enough so I made the HUGE mistake of going to someone else in town who has a great reputation - let me tell you - what a disaster! He didn't know how to cut my hair nor did he listen to what I was asking for. But I got a haircut with Dani today and even my husband noticed the difference. When I came home he commented how much better this haircut was over the other guy's. If you need coloring or just a hood haircut with someone who knows how to manage thick hair - Dani is your girl. But make sure you are patient, she's definitely worth the wait!

AVOID RUINED MY HAIR!!! I followed Mikayla a stylist I had seen for 5 months at her own salon :…read more for 5 months she gave me platinum blonde and my hair grew and was healthy. She moved to this salon TRU and I followed her as I thought that I could trust her further and get them same quality. This was NOT the case. This salon uses "natural' products and they did not cover my roots at all. Mikayla admitted she additionally did not know how to use these new products, I left the salon having paid in full for getting my roots done BUT I left with roots showing. To make matters worse, my hair was suddenly FRIED after Mikayla had used the "natural" products at TRU hair salon. It was stringy and like gum. I told Mikayla and she midly showed concern and said it would be better the next time. The next time my hair was dyed GREY!!!!! yes GREY not blonde. Mikayla had the audicity to look me in the eyes and proclaim it was blonde. I was shocked. My hair got even more damaged by the "natural" products. The owner Kenzi Hatley showed zero concern emotionally and did not apologize and reluctantly refunded that one visit however the damage was HUGE, over the course of the following weeks my hair BROKE off and is now shorter due to damage than before I went to TRU hair salon. I shared all this with Kenzi Hatley and she showed ZERO concern took ZERO responsibility and THREATENED me if I tried to get my money back. Have a look at ALL their negative reviews. I am one of many people who had a bad expeiernce here

I had a difficult schedule to work with and really wanted an appointment soon and Parisa did a fantastic job of navigating that and working with me. Parisa even had me send in a photo of my hair before booking to confirm I'd get the results I wanted. It's been over a week now and I can confirm I'm extremely satisfied with my hair. I've had a baby earlier this year and I know that messes with hair somehow - hormones and all. My hair is incredibly dense and that can make it very difficult. To add to that I hadn't been keeping it up, maybe washing twice a week and brushing not so much. With the baby and work and I really needed to make my hair low maintenance which is what the Brazillian blowout has really helped with. My hair doesn't feel fried or anything. I really appreciate Zara since my hair is truly a lot of work and is in no way easy. I also got the Brazillian blowout brand shampoo and conditioner- it smells like my grandmothers garden in Sacramento with the delta breeze - I'm literally transported every time I use it. Also the salon is beautiful, and they have a ton of different beverages including the cutest little coffee nook . I was really impressed with everything - every step of the way - I highly recommend this place and Zara was fantastic!

I went to Natalie with shoulder-length, healthy, almost entirely virgin hair that I had spent a…read morelong time growing out from a buzz cut. I asked for a cinnamon-copper brown, relatively close to my natural brown. I left with an extremely dark, unnatural burgundy-red-almost purple color that is not remotely close to the color I showed her. During the service, Natalie used three tubes of Kenra permanent copper color with 20vol developer and processed my hair for approximately 30 minutes. After seeing the result, she told me she did not know how it had happened. That explanation has been extremely difficult for me to accept. I showed the products/formula used on my hair to my longtime stylist in Miami, and she immediately identified the formulation as the issue. This color did not simply appear on my head for no reason. Products were selected, a formula was created, and that formula was applied to my virgin hair with confidence. Those decisions produced the result I am now living with. Natalie did not charge me for the original service and offered to correct it. But, her proposed solution was a bleach wash, followed by another gloss/toner and K18 treatment. In other words, after taking my healthy virgin hair from a natural brown to an unwanted dark burgundy-red, the proposed solution involved additional chemical processing to get me back toward where I started. This course of action was also condemned by my stylist in Miami, who asked- why damage my hair more instead of trying to fade the depth of the ruined color by using a color remover? At that point, I no longer had ANY confidence in her ability to formulate or correct my color, and I decided to take the correction out of her hands. I am now left with RED/PURPLE/BLACKISH unnatural-looking hair that I did not ask for and will have to spend significant money, time, and additional processing to correct. I also have to worry about what correcting it will do to the health and texture of hair that was completely healthy before this appointment. Mistakes happen. Hair color can behave unexpectedly. But there is a difference between an imperfect result and taking nearly virgin hair that was already close to the requested color and producing something dramatically darker, redder, and further from the goal. I entrusted Natalie with hair I had spent years growing back. I DEEPLY REGRET DOING SO. DO NOT GO TO NATALIE. SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING.

I made an appointment for two haircuts and one full set of acrylic nails. I have to say that while…read morethe experience wasn't completely disappointing, I know the quality could have been much better, especially considering the price we paid. The person who did my nails was kind and did an okay job, and I don't expect perfection. However, I was surprised by the nail preparation. She only filed my nails and clipped my cuticles without pushing them back first. Simply clipping them doesn't fully remove or clean up the cuticles. I've had my nails done at several other salons, and they always take more time with the prep work before applying the acrylics. I was also disappointed with the polish application. The polish didn't fully cover my nails, and the sides were left bare. It honestly looks like my nails have already grown out for a month, even though my husband and I had the appointment on July 3 at 11:00 PM. My husband also got a haircut. He simply asked for it to be cut short, and that's exactly what he received, so he was satisfied with his haircut. As for my haircut, I requested a pixie cut, but it ended up looking much more like a bowl cut. I also asked for my bangs to be cut diagonally, but they were uneven, as shown in the photos. I even asked if they could be made a little shorter, but I still wasn't happy with either the cut itself or the way it was styled. Overall, I expected a much better result for the amount we paid. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I did expect more attention to detail and a higher quality of service. Unfortunately, my experience didn't meet those expectations. However, in the end, I did cut my own hair and it turned out better than what I paid for. But I will say I dont plan on coming back here again.
