Both of our daughters started as tiny babies in her care. Our first stayed for 3 years, and our second for 2 and they absolutely thrived! 3 years of drop-offs where my kids would sprint inside because they couldn't wait to see her and their buddies. And each day they were met with lots of love from Mrs. Evoun. As new parents, it was hard to hand our baby over at just a few months old but very quickly, Evoun made us feel at peace. She doesn't just keep your kids safe but truly treats each one as her own. She is nurturing and intentional with each kiddo. She celebrates the kids through their milestones, helped us potty train, and provides home cooked meals which was a lifesaver for working parents like us. Being a working parent herself, she understands the twists and turns of life and was very helpful and accommodating to us when it came to things such as a flat tire, work emergencies, and when I was in labor with our second daughter! We ended up moving away and miss her every single day. If you are able to get a spot with Evoun, take it. We are so grateful for the loving, joyful foundation she gave us and our girls. So much so.. that we are a bit scared to trust anyone else with our kids because she is JUST THAT GOOD!

We are so sad to leave because it is such a wonderful school. My daughter spent four months at another unnamed preschool and was so unhappy, and I felt like she was neglected. The school has been incredible and she has truly thrived. At her last preschool, she didn't really talk much. Even at home she was pretty quiet. But she's been at the school for three years now and she is such a social butterfly. Her vocabulary is astounding to me. She's able to write her name, write most of her numbers, one through 10, and is able to identify both capital and lowercase letters. It's a wonderful community as well. I'm they have so many wonderful school events, the staff is so attentive and kind, it really feels like a small family. They are a Lutheran school, but that literally does not affect my child whatsoever. We are Roman Catholic and they don't push religion on them. They do sing a few like cute religious songs and they do attend chapel once a week on Wednesdays, but I know other families of other faiths that are there and still absolutely love it. I'll stop there because I'm not gonna keep going on and on about how wonderful the school is. Just believe me when I say it's truly a wonderful school. They accept students as young as 18 months old. They always have events open to the public and the community so check it out. Or schedule a tour. This is literally just coming from my own heart. I was not asked to write this. They don't even know I'm writing this, but I just really truly love the school.

My oldest daughter will be leaving TLC next month to attend elementary school and I will have one last child transitioning to Ms. Mitra's older group (4+). I could spend days writing about each lady and how amazing they have been with my daughters at every stage of their growth from infant (Ms. Swarna and Ms. Maryam) to toddler (Ms. Nina, Ms. Crystal, and Ms. Elizabeth). All of the ladies including others I have not mentioned have made my daughters feel loved and heard as opinionated toddlers now. Specifically though I want to highlight Ms. Mitra, my daughter Sofía has been with her for this past year and has grown immensely academically and socially. She is the much needed structure that older little kids need. Ms. Mitra has done an AMAZING job preparing my daughter for school. She has learned everything that she needs and more to excel in kindergarten. As a teacher myself I understand the work and countless hours that one spends at home preparing for her students. I know that Ms. Mitra puts in 120% into everything she does and teaches our children. I am beyond grateful for everyone at this school and can't imagine not having all of these great ladies supporting my children but they will have to grow and move on. For those considering this school, you cannot find anything better and most importantly piece of mind that your kids are well.

I have always gotten a family vibe from the school and the director and have been very honest (I have overpaid before and they caught and deducted from next month and even paid forward from Covid). To me that shows a lot of integrity, not to mention the extra stuff they offer like date nights, holiday shows, etc. The teachers always communicate if there has been any illnesses and also if my kid or they are concerned about something. When we were looking for childcare, my sister, who works in the school/childcare industry, really liked the way everything was set up and their policies and I am happy with our decision. They have nicknames for him and tell me stories. That's a testament to the environment they are raised in. Our kids at here for long parts of the day. That's exactly what you get at the Nest. It feels like dropping your kids off to be taken care of by family, it's small, and cozy, and so much fun! The kids have an awesome flow and structure to their day and they get to do so many fun things. From daily art and science projects, sensory bins, singing and dancing, amazing activities like visits from baby farm animals, puppies, water play, and fun holiday parties. My first child was a pandemic baby, she was severely shy and afraid to be away from us, within a couple of months at the nest, her true personality blossomed, she is now in TK and was chosen to be the speaker at her holiday performance, and can already read. I completely attribute these achievements to her time at the nest, where her true potential was developed. My second baby runs in every morning with joy, he has been there since he was 3 months old and has loved every minute of it. He loves his friends there and he loves his teachers, he's always so excited to tell me about what project he is working on. And we wouldn't have chosen to have a 3rd baby if we didn't have this amazing resource, the Nest is truly "our village", and we can't wait for our newborn to start going this summer!
