Her teaching style was straightforward and effective. She conveyed important information in a way that was easy to take in and easy to understand. She gave us tips on remembering and resources to help us. You could tell that she really knew what she was talking about. Our class asked just about every question imaginable, and Emily answered each one quickly, honestly, and without hesitation. She did not pull punches when addressing the difficult questions either, which I really respected. Her level of knowledge and composure immediately earned everyone's trust. She brought CPR dummies and practice AEDs so we could get hands-on experience, which made the training feel real and important. She even went out of her way to teach us how to use some of our safety equipment in the workplace. By the end of the session, I felt both educated and more capable of acting in a real emergency. I truly believe that society would be better if everyone took this course. I would absolutely trust Emily in a medical situation and now, thanks to her, I feel more confident that I could help too. Took my 2014 Macbook Pro into Mactek On October 15 2016 due to liquid damage. The computer has been…read morein that shop pretty much ever since. As I write this it is 1/23/2017 over three months later. I have my macbook back but it is barely functional. They told me I could purchase a new motherboard and I did so. About 2 months later the new motherboard was installed. About 1 week after the installation the new motherboard failed and the computer would not turn on. I took it back to mactec and they told me their parts should be under warranty. They have since changed their story and told me their parts may or may not be under warranty and that they are "working" on getting the new motherboard repaired/replaced. Without discussing with me, they attempted a "refurbishment" of the old motherboard, gave the computer back to me with the old water damaged motherboard installed, and told me this was what they were able to do to resolve my situation. This is after paying them over $1,300 in repair costs. I order product "A" and they give me product "B". To make matters worse, the old motherboard that was inserted into the machine in a desperate attempt to resolve the situation, showed signs of failure a day after I took it home. I am still working with them to come to an amicable solution, if they manage to repair or replace my new motherboard I will update and edit this review. 3/7/2017 Review Update: The issue has come to an amicable solution and I am very grateful that Mactek worked very hard to make this issue right. I appreciate the followthrough and commitment to good customer service and honest business. Glad to come to a solution with these folks. I think me as the customer and them as the business both ran into some bad luck!
