Excellent selection, competitive pricing, and genuinely knowledgeable staff. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, helpful, and able to answer my questions without hesitation. The prices were better than other suppliers I visited, and the overall experience was night-and-day compared to the competition. Highly recommended. read more

All on staff are kind and very helpful! The selection includes what I wanted and lots more. I even found the prices to be very fair. This was my second time buying rock and gravel there and I'll be going back every time I need those things. read more

The people who work here are very nice. Great service. I usually come here to get compost and mulch at a good price.

There was a slight miscommunication between OR Decorative Rock and their contracted driver which resulted in the rock being delivered to the wrong spot and therefore we had slightly less rock for us to use in our project. However, the owner kindly delivered a little extra on a Sunday, which was really going above and beyond. Mishaps happen, but it's how you handle them that really matters and they were great. read more

Good service. Nice people. Selection of gravel is good, and value is ok to lower value.

I have been sourcing rock products from Oregon Decorative Rock for years for my home projects. They are great!

Went there for some landscaping rocks and they have a great selection. It is significantly cheaper going here instead of home depot. They also have pavers and slabs. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Good place to get your rocks, stones, and gravel that you cant find at home depot or lowes, great customer service and very knowledgeable with time to give to customers without rushing you. FYI small place no regular bathrooms just a porta potty. #positivegoodlife read more

Amazing experience great customer service the attendant Nolan was very nice. And went above and beyond to make sure that I had all of the stone that I needed. Thank you very much for being so helpful. Can't wait to come back soon for the rest of my project. read more

Pulled in at 10:00 a.m., June 6, to no other customers- intent on buying a TRUCKLOAD of flagstone. The (shirtless) attendent who emerged was rude and condescending when asking me to pull off the scale, as i was attempting to tell him I wanted a LOT OF STONE. Now, I totally understand that, perhaps my bold, committed-to-the-sale action of pulling directly on the scale may not be how they do business, and I acknowledge that. The VERY condescending attitude, and unprofessional approach to customer service, has led me to take my business elsewhere. This is a real bummer, as I have done a LOT of planning on this project (around their products/prices), and I will now have to go a different avenue. read more

Finally found some flagstone for little steps through our flowers/plants. Small place easy to see everything. Helpful guy when we went. Simple and met our needs. Lots of rock selection so might come back for a landscape project in the future. Seemed reasonable prices to me but I don't shops for rocks very often. read more

I've been going here for years. Lots of the standard fair but also unique and different hardscapes. Service is great. You can get a ten pound bag of rocks you can get a truckload. You will always find someone to help and give you choices. read more

This place has a really beautiful rock/paver/gravel selection, and the service is amazing! Every time I've gone, the employees have been super friendly and ready to help without being overbearing. Fabulous product and knowledgeable service. Reasonably priced delivery. A great selection of mulch and rock

Great locally owned store with excellent service and unbelievable prices. The sidewalk strip in front of our house has out of control weeds, so we decided to cover up with rock. Oregon decorative rock has a great variety of choices for every budget. items are clearly marked , so it is easy to make a choice. The staff was SO NICE. They helped us with what we need but there was no sales pressure. I think they keep prices low by sticking to basics. They use an analog scale to weigh rocks and hand calculator to tally up the bill. Quick , easy , doesn't drive up costs. In the end, we got what we needed for a few hundred dollars less than expected . read more

Had a great experience getting gravel here. The guy who helped us was really nice and helped us pick out the right size and amount of gravel we needed for our project and didn't push expensive types on us. I'll definitely be coming back for any future projects. read more

Everytime I've been they've done the yard weight eqivalent for me on materials as I have a topper so can't get bucket loaded. Even discussed it today with a newer face working prior to loading the truck. Go to pay and he can't or doesn't know how to do the fractional equivalent, so I end up paying the equivalent of 2 yards for under 1/2 yard of material - $80 for under 1/2 yard of compost! The guy even said you're at 1100lbs and a half yard is 1500, hell just charge me the half yard price. Now that buying from them when I load it myself will cost me more than getting 2x the amount delivered, or even buying bagged compost from the big box stores that they'll load for me, I'll just go that route from now on. One star for selection though as they have decent stuff. read more

Can't say enough great things about this place! Really great selection of rocks for home landscaping and the staff is top notch! Seriously these guys are awesome, very knowledgeable and they load the rock up for you with a smile! Highly recommend!!! read more

A consistently pleasant experience in the past six years. The bald-headed guy (manager) is very cool and helpful. Rarely if ever has anyone sported an attitude. Once in awhile I'll purchase bulk for some decorative project only to find out they stopped carrying that variety or color hue when I go back to purchase more. read more

They had everything I needed to complete my back patio. Great service. Great prices. Best selection. read more

Need to make a flagstone path or patio? Don't hit the big box hardware stores. Instead, check out Oregon Decorative Rock. They have a very large selection of stepping stones, ranging in price from 25 cents a pound to 45 cents a pound. How does that translate into an actual project, you ask? Well, we purchased about 30 stones (enough to lay out two longish paths and two very short paths). This cost us about $165. Two other things we like about Oregon Decorative Rock: (1) They load your car for you, which is awesome when you're purchasing 560 pounds of rock. (2) It seems that some of their selections are available for a long time, which is great if you need to add on to your path or patio later. We purchased the exact same rock in 2006 and 2014. Super cool. read more

Love this spot. Always great help w any projects. Nice guys who are knowledgeable. I used to live close now I drive out of my way to come here. Worth a stop. read more

great selection and service. I drove up with a bunch of plastic buckets from the donut shop and filled those up with the gravel I needed. Some of the more specialized rocks come in bags too. Can't wait to go back for more- there's all sorts of cool stones jammed into this space. read more

ODR is simply the best! Nicest staff in town, affordable and even with a small product "yard", they always have exactly what I need. I also appreciate that you can return your old thick plastic gravel bags for the crew to reuse. The little things + the big things= Oregon Decorative Rock has got you covered! read more

The most friendly crew you'll ever meet! My husband and I looked for rock between about 5 different places, we had a lot of questions as this was our first project. At all the other places they were very short and not interested in helping us just interested in how much money we were going to spend. The crew at ODR was not only friendly but extremely nice and excited to help! The extra 12 miles out of our way is worth the drive. We have already been back 3 times and each time they remember us and want an update on our project! We would recommend ODR to anyone and will be back for any future rock projects! read more

This place has great selection and staff. I've been very happy with my purchases and they help me load it too!

Having moved out of Portland, Oregon, I'll be hoping to find another supplier of decorative rocks and service. The store of my choosing was the N. Lombard store and Steve was a master of making each and every customer feel like the only customer. The young people who work there are always a rotation of kind and hard working people, often times student athletes from the community colleges and universities. They are an important and reliable source of landscaping products and advice. read more

Awesome people and awesome products! Quick service and they even helped us load the car!

For those about to rock, this place will salute you.
