They consistently have the best selection. I seem to find almost everything I need there. I am new to Germany so I hold supermarkets to the same standards I am used to which might not the norm for the stores here. We bought meat that we ate the same day and was excellent. Everything else we had to throw away because it was already expired. Yes all the food (milk,cheese, yoghurt, salmon, spreads you name it). All was expired at the moment of the purchase, some even a few days before. It was ridiculous, next day had to go shopping again.I didn't check expiration dates because I assume that supermarkets don't keep on their shelves expired food, now I do. My advise is that if you shop for anything there check the expiration date before putting it in your cart.
