There's a little bridge and stream running through the park, lots of benches and green space to relax and enjoy. The main attraction of the park is definitely the playground, which is huge. I went during the middle of the day and it was a bit chilly, so there was no one using it but it's quite large and I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the warmer days. From the looks of it in other pictures posted, there's shade for the playgrounds in the summer too. There are four large pavilions throughout the park as well, with lots of picnic tables to utilize. There are several huge grassy areas and lots of people walking and playing with their dogs. It was nice to walk through although it's not large enough to walk or run laps around like Liberty Park or Sugarhouse Park. This is a great space to go to if you're looking to picnic, play with your dogs, bring your family to, or sit and read. There was a sign by the entrance that said there is a community garden coming to this park soon! It's a partnership between Wasatch Community Gardens and the city of South Salt Lake. Super cool to see!

Large, shady trees, ample space for the kids or pups to run and play and varied areas for groups to congregate. This one has it all! I attended a gathering here and had a delightful time. There's a spacious parking lot, so if you're coming in via car, you can park and walk in. You'll cross a darling little stream over a tiny bridge and come up on a large pavilion. In fact, there are several pavilions scattered throughout that you can reserve for your group event. There are a few different playgrounds, a skate park, bathrooms and an impressive off-leash dog park on the south end. We spent most of our time at the dog park letting the pups run and play. It's a remarkable use of space-right up against an area that would likely not be very usable otherwise, but it's been turned into the perfect area to throw a ball for your four legged kiddos. It's got shade, seating, water fountains and a few climbing features to keep the pups engaged. This is definitely a park that I look forward to returning to.

Unlike many other courts, each court here is actually separate from each other and there is plenty of space in between each one. There is also a really cool system to determine who is up next when you out your rackets up. Which is just a simple wheel/arrow that can be turned to identify the group that is up next. The courts and nets are also all well maintained

The breeze through the evergreen trees and the pampas grass in late summer/autumn is just lovely to listen to and the pines smell wonderful. There's almost no one that ever visits simultaneously so you're almost guaranteed a serene place to yourself. Come a few times a year to experience the garden a little differently every time and enjoy the various fragrant flowers throughout the season, learn a bit more about water conservation and Utah native gardening, and enjoy the wildlife from quail to squirrels to butterflies and bees -- I flinched most around the bees the first couple times visiting but I've stopped completely as they are very honed in on the task at hand . It's always such a peaceful visit. The only thing that would make it better would be if the road noise could completely disappear but that's the trade off for getting something so wonderful, completely for free, without having to drive far.

The disc golf course isn't anything super special, but it's a good course to get some throws in. We didn't mind cause we were catching up with a friend anyway. This park is also directly under the flight path, so you get to see a bunch of airplanes flying overhead which I loved! The trees also smelled amazing. There were a few big softball fields that looked awesome and also the rec center is in the same space. I did opt to park a little further away from the field, knowing that some of the folks on the team I was watching can hit a ball pretty far and I didn't want to fix a broken windshield.
