Made another appointment for January and they just canceled it again today. No one here or the company takes responsibility for anything and have you wasting your time and health. I went in and it took the receptionist a while to attend me when they only had 2 people in front of me. Due to them gossiping instead of attending me. Then when I said I wanted to see an urgent care doctor (the maps said it was still urgent care) the girl said it wasn't urgent care anymore, and proceeded to just throw the paper on the table instead of giving it to me in my hand. My last primary care physician had a horrible bedside manner, but the location was convenient. I dislike going to the doctor, and she didn't make the situation any better. Plus, rather than provide answers she just threw out accusations. A friend of mine recommended Dr Vincent Wu. However, his office location was not convenient. I finally convinced myself that it is only once a year and I could suck it up, so I made an appointment. I'm glad I did! I arrived early to fill out the New Patient Paperwork. The lady that assisted me was friendly and efficient. I was called in for my appointment on time, which made me happy because I don't like having to wait past my scheduled time. My time is valuable too! I liked Dr Wu immediately. He is friendly and personable and takes the time to listen and explain. He provided solutions not accusations. His assistant was also very sweet. She drew blood and took my blood pressure with care. If you are looking for a good Primary Care Physician, I recommend Dr Wu. *His office is in the same building as Urgent Care 2603. *Located in a shopping center, so there is plenty of free parking. read more

Optum Montebello's pediatric office is the best! Dr. Rosado and the nursing staff there is incredible. Mayra really puts my mama medical questions and nerves at ease. Ana was so sweet and gave my child stickers after the appointment. The waiting room even has a kids table and a kids channel on the TV while we waited although the weight was not very long at all. As soon as my child sat down, and we were already called in. They recently did some renovating and switching of spaces. Now the speciality offices are to the left of the front desk, while pediatrics side is to the right. Since I've been coming to this office for the past three years, I've often felt a like the front desk here is not very warm and friendly, especially coming in with a child. It's a stark difference going from the front desk to the pediatric side, which is much more inviting. I felt like asking questions to the front desk staff is a nuisance and burden. I don't look forward to interacting much with that front desk but worth it for being seen at their pediatrics. Glad they take care of schedule my child's appointments and I don't have to return back to their side upon leaving. read more

Extremely frustrated that this place takes zero accountability for the way they do their scheduling of patients. I had an appointment on sept.17,(mind you this appointment was done months ago in advance) and when I made my appointment I specifically said I needed a physical done. Once I arrived, and I'm doing paperwork they ask me for a co payment of $30, I ask why if my insurance pays for physical, they said whoever did my appointment didn't specify which type of appointment it was. I end up paying $30, waited hours until I was seen, just to go in the room, get undress into a gown, and have my vitals taken, so that the nurse can then come back in and say unfortunately Dr.ching won't be able to see you because it does not say physical on the charts?! I had to then get dressed and asks to speak to a supervisor "Katrina" and said how is this fair? Charging me $30 for a mistake done by your office, and now to waiting and wasting time just to tell me unfortunately the doctor can't take another physical today you have to reschedule? Make it make sense please. Drive back home (35 min) called and reschedule but nothing was available until the follow year 1/29 which is tomorrow. I just received a phone call stating that they needed to cancel my loooong awaited appointment due to "over scheduling"! How?! I made this appointment months in advance?! How are you going to cancel my appointment? Sandy then said next available appointment is march 4th. What makes me think that they're not going to call me the day before to tell me the same thing and blame other "third party scheduler" for yet another mistake? Who's taking accountability for this? First of all, I didn't wait long and I was out in two hours which was a plus! Check in wasn't long either, the lady was a bit snappy but I get it. Patient registration wasn't my thing either... she gets a pass. All the nurses and staff were great! Charge nurse Cathy was amazing! I really loved her she was literally the greatest and she cared! Dr. Mohamed Qadi takes the cake! He was very thorough and thoughtful, went above and beyond for me and made sure I got my X-rays scheduled and was fast in prescribing my medication! I really hope he stays, he was good to me and the service overall was great! The LVN who did my labwork today was great as well. My son went to see a doctor with the flu, the doctor refused to see him because he had the flu. He took COVID test and tested negative, he let them know, it didn't matter. What are the doctors there for, if not willing to see patients. They stated that urgent care can also refuse to treat you. Horrible. Appointments take months and you can never see your primary because of this. Their answer is to send you to Urgent Care for a 4-6 hour wait. Wife was sent to X-rays, no appointment necessary because you have to wait over two hours to get them done. At this point it's easier to go to the hospital and get everything done at once. read more

Since I moved, I needed a new PCP and this one was closest to my house. I made an appointment for an annual physical exam with Dr. Zamora and the person assisting me was friendly and helpful. I was able to get an appointment rather soon. When I got there, I had to check in with the people outside in the tent before going in and checking in with one of the people at the desks. It's very clean and spacious in the waiting room. The physical exam went by pretty quickly lol and Dr. Zamora was fine, asking me the usual questions and whatnot. The only thing they didn't do here which I thought was odd was take my height. Also I was irked because they wanted to do blood work but nobody told me that head of time so I wasn't fasting so I had to schedule another appointment to come in and do it. I don't know why this location has such a low rating. This has been our urgent care since my daughter was 6 months old. She is now 4 years old. We've been there three times the past year. For a sinus infection, Covid test, and just today for a persistent cough. They've always been professional, and the wait times have not been too long. I wanted to greatly compliment Robert with referral services. I came in with severe sinus infection and the Dr referred me to a CT scan in Downtown but the referral had to be processed first. Sure enough, at around 9 and next morning I got a call from Robert that he took care of my STAT referral with insurance company and made an appointment for me in Downtown. GREAT JOB ROBERT! We need people like you!!! I also wanted to thank Dr Milan who was very attentive and polite. Avoid this place if you can. Front was ok, not bad. But then, nurses do not smile. I asked nurse for the doctor's name and she never came back with it, simply ignored me. When asked on estimates when I would get my ultrasound no one could give me an estimate. Some nurses were improperly wearing their masks, with only one thread on. I informed the front of how I think nurses masks should be placed on corrctlOne of those nurses, the triage one, wearing those poorly placed masks had a bad cough. I was in that room after the doctor left for close to an hour. The room was warm. And I was just taking up someone else's space. I will try another urgent care next time. read more

Very disappointed with the Montebello location. My mom was trying to talk to her PCP due to currently having COVID having a cough and a rude receptionist answer the phone. You only need a person last name, first name and DOB only if there multiple people with the same name confirmed the home address I thought another person has the same address. The receptionist keep on telling my mom stop being rude. Well first of all she has COVID and is coughing and she wanted to speak to the NP because the Doctors don't even answer your questions or do anything about it. I want to switch my insurance self because I never like the PCP at this Montebello location. Can't wait to switch my group plan. If someone is feeling sick be compassion COVID is still around and people don't want to be going to the hospital instead calling there PCP and see if they could help them out. This place is ridiculous today. For the most part this location has been good. Today we were helped by front desks receptionist who hate their job and can't even liven up any. The nurse who took the vitals was either having a bad day or just gates people. I've been here for the last 1.5 hours with only 3 people ahead of me and I'm currently sitting In the exam rooM. My issue is that both the receptionist and the nurse tried correcting my parenting when my son was standing by the front door, not doing anything. Receptionist came out panicked as if no one was watching my son and I tell her he's fine. Then the nurse comes out to tell me "excuse me, no he's going to get hurt". Healthcare partners need to hire employees that can be personable and not so mad at the world. Just avoid this crew all together. I had the worst experience with the radiologist. When I entered the changing room she asked me to put a gown. The gown was from the previous patient. I did not put it on and just looked at her. Then she expected me to know where to stand in front of the mammogram machine. Did not know how to explain the procedure. Extremely insensitive, instead of explaining, her question to me was, "I you thought have done a mammogram before?" Terrible! read more

Unfortunately I did not get the doctor's name, but she's an older white lady, like those typical evil old ladies you see in the movies, real crypt keeper status. She barely said 2 words to my wife when she came to see us and it didn't seem like she wanted to answer any questions we had. oh, then she left Hey at least she got paid right? That's all that matters. This place is really something. Please, if you want actual care, and this is the closest urgent care to you, just go to AME Urgent Care off of Beverly. Came in with a history of childhood asthma while experiencing chest tightness and the staff, unwilling to listen to me or my other symptoms, immediately threw me into the COVID ward where people were coughing and wheezing around me. Staff was rude and acted like I was wasting their time. They argued with me that I had COVID so I'd pay for a test and when I refused (because the county offers free tests), they admitted that I don't display signs of COVID and most likely don't have it. After realizing I didn't have COVID, they basically wanted to send me on my way because "I don't know why you're in this side of the clinic". Zero help at all - even after explaining that I thought my symptoms were asthma related and I didn't currently have medication or an inhaler, the doctor shrugged and said "I don't know what you want from us". Now I have to miss work to get an actual COVID test to make sure I didn't catch it from my clinic visit. DONT COME HERE, especially if you have a compromised breathing condition because they'll definitely throw you in the COVID incubation chamber. UPDATE: The issue was anaphylaxis from a UTI antibiotic I had started a few days prior. I MENTIONED TO THE DOCTOR WHEN I WAS SEEN THAT I HAVE ALLERGIES TO OTHER UTI ANTIBIOTICS. I even asked him if he thought this could be an allergic reaction, which he ignored and blew off. My partner ended up calling them about it the next day asking for advice (when my condition worsened and my windpipe was closing up) and they told him that I'd have to come back so they could re-evaluate whether or not I had COVID even though the doctor had ruled it out the day before. They told us directly that there was no chance of me being seen in the regular unit because of my breathing difficulty. This place is USELESS and I could've literally died from anaphylaxis because of their complete negligence. read more

I've been here twice in 2019 for sports injuries and have had great service. I have been coming here for years and they have recently remodeled and spruced the place up. The admission staff is great and fast. The medical staff is also great. I even got a follow up call the next day from the PA I saw to see how I was doing and check if I found a specialist I needed. Keep up the great work. The only gripe I had on my last visit and I hope someone in management in this facility reads this is...your XRay tech (Norma I believe is her name) needs to get on the ball. She never came to get me and I sat occupying a patient-room for way longer then I should have. I finally peeked out of my room and got the attention of someone and was wheeled over to her. I call every week and I leave a message for the doctor. My last message was over a week ago and was marked urgent. I try really hard to keep a positive attitude and understand that you're not always going to get the best service. This place really has no excuse for being this terrible. They deserve every 1 star rating on here. So I got a call from my niece's school because she was hurt and my sister and brother in law were at work and not able to answer their phone. They called me as her emergency contact, and I picked her up within 15min of the call. My 6 year old niece was in a lot of pain and couldnt move her arm at all. After inspecting it for myself, I was able to tell it was not broken but I wasn't sure what was wrong so I decided to take her to the closest urgent care to her school, this one. BIG MISTAKE. I arrived there, explained the situation to the intake clerk and told her i do not have her insurance and ive called my sister and brother in law numerous times but I'm not able to get a hold of them. My niece was in so much pain I felt so bad for her. After BEGGING them to JUST take a look at her and that I would pay in cash since her insurance was unavailable to me, the intake clerk gave me paperwork to fill out. I was so happy at that point because I wanted my niece to be helped. While i was filling out the paperwork, the doctor shows up and states she can't help me. So i asked her if she was refusing to treat the patient. She said she was refusing the treat the patient without consent. This is RIDICULOUS. The whole time she had an attitude, and was flat out insincere. I don't care who you are or who you THINK you are. This is a direct message to that doctor specifically, you are equivalent to human garbage if you refuse to even take a look at a child who is in pain because "oh i dont have consent." Patients always come first you sad excuse for a "doctor." I ripped up the application they had gave me and threw it back at them. Then she tells me "that's a good example you're setting there for your niece" oh NOW she's family? LOL. FYI-- when it comes to dealing with people like you, that is an outstanding example for my niece. Anyway, I took my niece to AME Urgent Care and they were absolutely wonderful. They took a look at her, they were extremely polite and offered great advice. I wasn't try to do anything bad. I just really was scared and wanted to make sure my niece was okay.
