Combine our working hours with two big dogs and a toddler, and you have a house that I am sometimes embarrassed of. We also have a smaller house and way too much stuff (NO friends, we are not hoarders, but we maaaaaaybe have some clutter. Okay a lot of clutter.) so I was reluctant to even use a cleaning service because I didn't know what they would really be able to do for us. WORTH. IT. It turns out, they're actually able to do a lot. There is also something so stress-relieving about walking into a super clean house. My 3 year old ran into his room tonight and exclaimed, "My room is so beautiful! Our cleaning person did a great job!" Their quoting process was easy and accurate. I love knowing that the cleaning products they use are not a health hazard to my child or my dogs. Everyone I've spoken with has been very pleasant and very professional, and I love that they will both send me an email and a text to remind me about my upcoming cleanings. Denise does a stupendous job of cleaning my house and making me feel like I could actually have people over. :-) Whatever your hesitancy might be, I encourage you to reach out to Maid to Shine and see what they can do for you.

I have had house cleaners steal valuable items from me, from jewelry to very expensive pieces of artwork, the most expensive were two Remington statues appraised at $65,000 EACH! Apparently, they hid them in their cleaning buckets under rags.... The jewelry stolen ranged from pearl necklaces and bracelets to a diamond and sapphire bracelet. Not only does Maid-to-Shine train and employ quality, honest people, but the company is licensed, bonded and insured. They are the very first company I have ever found that has such high standards and quality employees!!! You can't possibly go wrong if you choose to give them a chance to help you!

In addition to a few specifics we asked them to focus on, they also went above and beyond to make our house sparkle. We were BOTH highly impressed! In addition to being super professional, Sarah/Royal are incredibly friendly, easy to chat with and enjoyable to be around. They take pride in their work and their business, which I think results in a much better experience than we would have had with a "big box" brand. As mentioned, we originally hired them just for a move in clean... after this experience, however, we're so tempted to make it a regular occurrence. Update: I went to update my original post on Upright Cleanings facebook page and couldn't. I wanted…read moreto post pictures of all the places that were left untouched in my house and to show before and after I cleaned. After almost six months of having to clean my house from top to bottom and also having to reclean places Upright Cleaning "cleaned", I'm even more disappointed in their service. I just don't understand how a "cleaning" leaves streaks on every window and how they only clean half of one window. Hiring them to clean my house was my biggest waste on money in 2017! I would not recommend Upright Cleaning as my house was still dirty after a deep clean. I hired Upright Cleaning Services to deep clean my new home on Nov 12th. They initially came out and cleaned for roughly 5 hours. The house was noticeably cleaner after doing a quick walk through. I returned to the new house a day or so later and on closer inspection a bit of the cleaning had been overlooked. I contacted Upright and EJ was able to come right over that day to fix it. We started to move in a few days later. I again started to notice certain things included in a basic clean weren't just overlooked but they weren't cleaned at all! Examples: My fridge/freezer, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, min to no sweeping. My kicthen cabinets and drawers had powered cheese in them. There was food under my stove. Grease splatter on my backsplash even after pointing it out. Food debris left in fridge and freezer. Cob webs left on walls. Baseboards and grout in bathroom was dirty. The things listed are in addition to the items I had EJ come out reclean. I again contacted Upright letting them know this time I was not happy with the job that was done. Instead of asking them to come back out, I asked for a portion of my money back as I would have to clean or get someone else to do so. I was told that based on the contract that no money would be giving back and that they could come back out and clean. While I truly do appreciate trying to resolve the issue by coming back out but I don't trust that they can get the job done without me hovering over them and i don't have the time to do so. Honestly, if this wasn't the third time they would have to come out I would be fine. And I honestly think it would be a waste of my time as they didn't do it initially or the second time. To sum everything up, EJ and Amelia are nice people but they do not have an eye for dirt. Maybe in a smaller home they could do a more thorough job but not anything 1700 sq ft or bigger.
