There was no staff on the floor area, a child had to run to the front to get help for my daughter. The owner is a liar. He said he would get back to me and show me the video to show there was staff on the floor never heard back. He also stated they didn't carry insurance, that was also a lie. He is a liar and a crook. Very very bad business and communication skills. An apology and telling the truth goes a long way. He is morally and ethically bankrupt.

If you are hiking on the trails don't go when it's damp because they are extremely slick. Some of the rv sites are small but workable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My biggest concern is the front gate. It is locked with a chain and padlock so you have to get out of your vehicle to unlock it open the gate and drive through then get back out to close it and lock it. The lock numbers are 5 font so hard to see and it sticks sometimes which is so fun when raining. I felt so vulnerable doing this after coming back from visiting family. They really need an automated gate!

Management terribly disorganized. The only reason they get two stars is because the kids had fun and the guy behind the counter didn't call the cops after I had a fucking meltdown. When he realized the teenage party organizer blew off his/her shift, I all ready had 20 elementary school kids accounted for. After ripping the manager a new one, I told him to give me the keys to the fucking equipment room - which he did or I would have kicked it in. I setup stations in the arena - think relay + boot camp. It was a lot of work on my part, but the kids had fun so I let the staff that was there live. Seriously, fuck this place.

Jeff was very accommodating with our needs, and customized different aspects of our rental to best suite our needs. I had tried many places before checking here (I didn't realize they did overnight parties) and I found Metro to be the most competitively priced and have the best facility. The lady from Metro who hosted our overnight was fantastic too. She was fun, friendly and welcoming to all our guests. The facility is huge with something to do for everyone! It also was very clean and well laid out. There are many convenient aspects to Metro if you are hosting a party including lockers for your guests, to an ice maker for your party needs, a concession stand open all night for your guests, video arcade games, batting cages, basketball, volleyball and of course their soccer field. If you are going to rent a facility for kids, and you need to have a lot of different activities for them, this is the best place!

We fed the penguins and the giraffes, which were nice experiences. It is super hilly, so be prepared to get your exercise. Here's the downside: several times we wondered how much areas are cleaned. We didn't visit any animals in the enclosed areas due to the smell of the buildings. It was powerful and overwhelming-maybe not enough ventilation too? Several glasses for aquarium type animals had algae and all kinds of things growing inside of the glass. The kids treehouse area reeked as well but honestly probably due to the otters. We love zoos and aquariums, but it's definitely ranked at the bottom of my list for cleanliness. Which then begs the question-how well are the animals cared for? The carousel was a great experience. Tokens are $1 each (not info available online) so prices inside are also reasonable.

You have to buy tokens for several things but be sure to make sure they are open before buying tokens. The paddle boards apparently are only seasonal. The tram is delightful and is like a train that runs all day you can get on and off where you want. They only have 1 place for food. It was really pretty good but super expensive. $10 for a burger or chicken sandwich or BLT without fries. The BLT was delicious but not worth $10. The burger was so small and just Okay the grilled chicken sandwich was a good size and the side of fries was $4 and huge. Those 2 were pretty worth it. A friend wanted to go to this park because she had a passport like card where each park had a different restaurant. I invited myself because I didn't want her going by herself. We got there and found out this park was not part of the passport. A little disappointing but that wasn't holding us back. The park itself is gorgeous. It has a big building with a museum inside which is free so you have a good reason to escape the heat. There were multiple hiking trails so you did get your workout for a couple hours. The only heads up I'm giving is each big hiking trails have "side trails" so you may get lost for a little bit. We got lost more than I would like to admit. Overall it's a good park with nice views and an adorable museum. If I'm ever back in town, I wouldn't mind hiking here again.

Considering how many times I've been here, it's about time I've reviewed this place and given how…read morepleased I was with it upon my first trip to check out this gym up until now when I no longer even live in Indiana anymore (but Louisville is close enough to drive to work out here when I visit friends and fam in the area). Every time I head bk to Haubstadt, I make sure to go to Bob's Gym, I dont even visit all my family each time I'm in the area and certainly no other establishment each and ever time I come back. So, it might be fair to say this spot is my favorite in all of Southern Indiana, period. Given that I've never been a gym rat or super into working out in public, that seems like a crazy sentence for me to state, but this place has a lot more than originally meets the eye (and especially the name, I really think the name made me think at first the place would just be a room with a few weights and dumbbells, but it's an-all-in-one workout, spaday, and rejuvenation center if you take advantage of all its perks! First of all, the Hydro massage chairs...are worth the whole membership. 10 minutes of absolute heaven and relaxation. And since they're never full, you can just ask the person working up front (real late most nights one guy is a total hottie too, but I don't get creepy and ogle him, unless he ever says he's okay with that, then of course I will, but that's just a potential extra, I do come here to work out...and the hydro chairs). It's open 24/7, which rules for a night owl like me! Do you know how awesome it is to have a whole swimming pool to yourself at 2 in the morning? Only 2nd to those hydro chairs in rejuvenation and relaxation-building time. There's plenty of equipment. I do use that too. You can take cool classes like Pound (I like to think of it like "Stomp," but with well, pounding drumsticks and stuff instead of stomping barrels and stuff. You can also buy smoothies and even cute goodies with the logo and such. I might write more later tonight, or sometime past midnight to get that pool to myself again.
