Of course that's because all of the American tourists were crammed into the bar on the corner getting plastered in the middle of the day. But they have shirts, belts, coats, dishes and other throngs. They are perfect for tourists wanting keepsakes. They had a great barbershop and my husband got a haircut. It was great! The barbers in there were very nice and talented. My hubby said it was the best haircut he's ever received. They also have a tattoo shop. And after a trip to the bar and getting plastered, I may have the courage to get one. Who knows. This location, which anchors The Plaza Cabo San Lucas, is your standard Walmart from the outside, but inside it is a different world that I was not expecting! The store is well laid out, clean, stocked, features all the specialty counters we need plus cafes with seating on both ends of the store...and they even had a gelato spot up front! I know this is a fairly new location, so it being in good condition was expected, but they do a great job at keeping this location up cleanliness and condition wise. Service was solid. When we needed help on the floor, someone was able to assist. Cashier was friendly and helpful...even given the slight language barrier. Overall, I was impressed with this Walmart...and that it the first time I've ever said that, so you know it was for good reason!

The absolute worst customer service I've experienced in my life, and completely broken parts to…read moreboot. It began when I called and asked if they had a 12v water pump that could work in an RV. "Sure, we've got one." I'd been looking forever and so was elated, and drove immediately to Lopez Marine. The salesperson seemed baffled at first, though he both spoke English and I explained what I needed in Spanish as well. He showed me a pump, small enough that I doubted its efficiency. I asked if he had a filter for it. He said a filter was unnecessary. Then he sold me the wrong sized hose for the pump. When I stated the size seemed wrong, he assured me it was correct, and then handed me a smaller piece of hose and told me to put it in my pocket. I was quite confused at this point. I paid for everything and left. As suspected the pump wasn't sufficient to even pump water the four and a half feet from my tank to my sink. This is not in an RV, mind you, or a yacht. It's in a small Volkswagen Bus. So after a day of tinkering, tearing apart my entire water system to verify that the problem wasn't in a leak or something elsewhere, I take the part back and ask if he has something better. That same salesman, who only the day before tried to get me to stick a piece of hose into my pocket, deferred to his boss. This man barely fit in the chair he sat in and his attitude was worse than spoiled milk on your toothbrush after a glass of orange juice. He was demeaning, tried stealing my part back from me, and though he was American, could not verbalize his thoughts in a way that even my 2 year old son could understand. I am trying to be polite here, but this was the most awful experience I've ever had and I have been downright stolen from by this sham of a company. Beware.

I purchased $8 USD worth of parts for a project. My card was charged $141. Enough said.read more
