This time however, I found a place that is almost as inexpensive as other places I have bought glasses in, around the world :-))
Ok, if you are looking for brand name glasses the choices here are limited but, if you are looking for glasses and have a tight budget, this is the place for you.
The service here is good, staff very helpful and the choices are also not so bad. They tested me to make sure my prescription had not changed, help me select the frame and, I received two pairs for the price of one. What more can you ask for ?
To top it off, I received an SMS when my glasses were ready and, all I had to do was go and pick it up. They also offer you a fitting service in case the glasses don't fit perfectly and you can bring them back for the same, upto six months later.
Good customer service, reasonable prices and for €210 I walked away with two prescription glasses and they fit well and I am delighted :-)
One last thing I discovered, "Brilleversicherung". Yes, there is an insurance for everything in this country lol...for €30-60 you are covered for two years for loss of your glasses or accidental damage etc, and, you can buy this at time of purchase in the shop ;-))
