Structured Fitness has been central in both my fitness and lifestyle transformations. Working with…read morePhil taught me how to push myself beyond what I thought was possible and take a conscientiously healthy approach to life, not only in terms of diet and exercise but also in terms of how I perceive my own capabilities. Phil taught me that "a well conditioned body is a well conditioned mind." When I started with him, I weighed in at about 220 lbs (on a 5'7" frame), with most of the weight coming from body fat. Worse, I had no insight into my physical health and no drive to learn how to change things. I don't doubt I was one of Phil's tougher clients, but he was so patient throughout my time with him. Days when I was dragging or not pushing myself, Phil was able to use his positivity and encouragement to get me through my training. Now, I'm at a healthy weight for my height and I workout 5 days a week on my own. Four years ago I started an e-commerce company and building it up has rekt'd my workout routine. Lots of time at the computer working but more or less sedentary. Enough about me, you want to know about Johnathan. This is a home based business. He has built a gym in his garage and that is where he works out his clients. He used to be a personal trainer for LA Fitness. When I was looking for a trainer I didn't want to go to a big gym or any corporate gym for that matter. Been there and done that. You're just a number and those places are just mills to churn and burn. I texted him on a Saturday and he texted me back making an initial consultation the following Monday. We went over everything and he took my measurements. He also is a massage therapist (myofacial release) and explained that he requires all his new clients to get a massage. He does this to see where their structural weak points are. Fast forward three months and I have dropped inches. We do a measurement of hips, neck, arms, calf's etc at the end of the month to track progress. His workouts are unusual. He takes a simple exercise but adds a twist to it. He's always trying to confuse your body so that it can't adapt to anything. If he sees you breezing through a particular exercise he'll change it up just a little so your brain & body have to adjust. Very personal and changed his schedule to fit yours. You're also pay 1/3 of what you will at another gym. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

It's almost comical. It's theft by deception and I encourage anyone who has experienced this to contact a lawyer.
