What they do really well here is the Ribeyes! The ribeyes are great here. Especially the Bison Ribeye from Durham Ranch. I have also tried the Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon as well as the Surf and Turf. All the meals are great. Even had the Walleye pan fried fish which was very good sized portion. Free salad bar with every order of a sandwich or entree. This place has some really awesome Fried Pickles. I get them all the time when I come here. Also try the Kangaroo skewers with the Blackberry and Redwine sauce if you're feeling lucky. Have you ever had Rocky Mountain Oysters? Well you can here. Give it a shot!

Bison burger ordered medium. A medium burger should have a hint of pink. This was bright red and tasted barely cooked.

Small town in the oil patch, so don't expect big city steakhouse service.

Lo and behold we got off the highway and found a local diner in Wright, WY. We entered the small diner and we found many of the locals were there for a Sunday breakfast. The owners son approached us and welcomed us to the diner. We ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage patty and 2 over easy eggs on a bed of crispy hash-brown potato's. We were amazed how delicious the gravy over biscuits with the eggs and sausage Pattie . We learned that Hank owns the diner, the market/gift store (open 24 hours), the gas station and the motel across the road. Great marketing, the bathroom for the diner is in the gift shop. We bought 2 T-shirts and a cap.. Highly recommend this little diner in Wright WY!

I ordered 2 cups of the 2 "home made" chili they advertise on their menu: Red and green. The red was OK, too sweet to my taste. The green however was very spicy and I liked it. When the waitress asked me which one I liked the most I replied "the green"! She then told me "let me tell you something that'll blow your mind: the green chili comes straight out of a can" ok. thanks. Nice decoration. it's ok to stop if you are starving during a road trip however I wouldn't consider having a family dinner there.

Second, the service was good. Friendly people, attentive and polite. It was a weeknight and there was not a big crowd. I prefer that, so another high point. Plenty of room, and not crowded in with other diners. Finally, location is handy to the hotel I was in, and to the interstate if you needed a meal along your route. I would return here. Thank you BTS.

The first thing they asked me was "can you show us her license ?" I toled them that was an illegal question and handed them an ADA card that explains abut Service animals (I buy them in packs of 100!) and explain to them that there are only two questions they can legally ask, which are "Is this a service dog?"and "what service does the animal provide?". When we sat down for our meal, we discovered that their menu has been greatly reduced since our last visit there a few years ago And our favorite menu item (bison burger) was no longer available. The only bison on the menu was bison steak at over twice the price! When the server arrived (the only pleasant experience of this visit), we placed our orde, a Western burger for me and a mushroom burger for my wife. I asked if the had a Military discount. They said yes. When the burgers arrived, they were dry, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp! When we were done, I took Khaleesi outside so she could "take care of business" and my wife stayed inside to pay for the meal. When asked for the Military discount, they hemmed and hawed, then final called the manager over to approve it. When she paid, she left a 10% tip for the server ( I wanted to make sure she got some kind of tip. After all, it wasn't her fault!) the manager told my wife that a 15% was what was usually expected!!!! She handed the manager the 10% tip aseed that the manager personally hand the server the tip which he agreed to. Bozeman Trail Steakhouse *used* to be our favorite meal stop when traveling to visit my family in South Dakota. After this visit, we will no longer visit them again!!!
