Great service and quality. When photos and floorplans require last minute edits and time is of the essence, the turnaround time is extremely important. For example the correct labeling of all the rooms on a multi-level floorplan is not an easy thing to get right the first time so revisions are nearly always necessary but the team at OHP is very responsive. Ditto on dropping in extra neighborhood photos, receiving add'l photos direct from broker, and making sure everything formats correctly. The photographers are all very good, and take instruction gladly whether you are seeking to highlight details or just have a more neutral point of view. Usually the same photographer is able to do photos, a matterport visual scan and aerial pic / video all in one visit so it's quite efficient. Have used for years and will continue. read more

I paid $850 for photos that I could have shot better myself as an amateur. The website is a total disgrace. Anytime you want to add a photo or deleter a photo you have to e mail them to do it. And no response on the weekends. You have to wait til Monday to have your changes made, which was too late by Monday for what I needed done. Photos were sub par, for instance, the photographer took photos of the bed with a messy cover and should have asked the owner who was present to straighten it. It looks terrible. The best view shots out the bedroom window revealed nothing of the ocean views. The whole process was awkward, messy, expensive and very disappointing! Good luck navigating the dashboard. We are very disappointed with the service from this company. We ordered a floorplan for one of our current listings, they sent it to us bland in color and without measurements. We were shocked as the whole purpose of a floor plan is to inform potential buyers the sizes and layout of each room. We contacted them and they informed us it would be another $50 for measurements. On their website it states that they " Provide detailed floor plans to allow buyers to revisit the home and understand the dimensions of the space. " No where does it say that they will hold the dimension until you give them more money. Seems like a scam to me. The only reason we booked them is because we were in a time crunch, and they had an opening. Their photographs are sub-par at best and about $200 more than their competitors. I guess we know why they had an availability! read more

After over five years of business with them they did a horrible job on a property that I spent $2200 on ONE property on the same day as canceling with a $350 fee because a late carpet cleaner was at a home the wrong time (COVID related but absolutely not accommodating). Despite an estimated $2500 spend in one DAY, absolutely unapologetic. After my original review, the owner contacted me and was a bit intimidating about my having left a review. I edited out a portion of it but modified it to include this fact. ADDITIONAL inquires in local "Realtor only" boards found out that I'm not the only one with the opinion of slipping service. The products purchased on the $2200 package were absolutely sub-par and thus is NOT the "Nordstrom of photography " (despite the "Nordstrom" prices). Note, I was a loyal customer of this company for I believe six years. I believe his primary complaint against me is I was a b*tch in response. Which I absolutely was - to the price tag of that amount of money in one day, I am the customer. The money came out of my pocket in exchange for services. I love this company. Of all the money spent on getting my house ready to show, the investment in OHP was the clearest win. On the phone, they were extremely helpful and were able to come on short notice. Wes was very efficient and easy to work with but I really didn't need to do anything other than get out of his way. The drone video was unbelievable - he sent it out over the Bay and the wetlands to capture birds flying over the water. Everyone who sees it loves it. I got my photos the next day and built the website in less than 2 hours. It is very intuitive. The images were amazing and they looked great in the print piece as well. The few times I needed a question answered, the staff was very responsive - even though I was pretty stressed trying to get ready to list. Wes of Open Homes Photography was referred to me by a real estate agent to shoot some photos for a home on the market. Although ther real estate lady did say that generally all the photographers there are good, I told the representative/coordinator that I would like to choose Wes to be my photographer after reviewing Wes' portfolio, so I paid the fee and specifically chose a time that Wes was available. Two days later, I went to job site and called the company on my way there. The rep told me that Wes was not available because he would be at another site in Lafayette for the rest of the day. This rep never informed me earlier and he did not explain why Wes chose to do another job. After several minutes on the phone with him, he simply hung up on me (he did send me an email instead saying that he was sorry but the photographer was never guaranteed as indicated in the contract.) I waited at the job site and an hour passed after the appointment time, I called the company and found out the replacement photographer had a car problem and was waiting for the tow truck. In the end, the photographer was late for almost two hours but he finally got the job done. My complaint was not about the quality of the photographs. I have an issue with their "customer service". The rep knew that I reviewed other photographers' work and wanted to stick with Wes. I even changed my appointment time in order to accommodate to Wes' time. I was also surprised and troubled by having the rep hang up on me. Lastly, I also think they should contact the client when there is a delay in the meeting. read more
