As you all can imagine, this led to her to start losing her hair. It was a very emotionally difficult moment for her. I called Impressions and spoke with Tammy who usually does my moms hair. She was more than happy to cut and shave the remainder of my moms hair. She got a room in the back so she can have privacy and she gave my mom a lot of moral support. I remember my mom coming home actually smiling after this. She told me that Tammy was very kind to her and that at one point Tammy brought out a very blonde wig and made her laugh... she couldn't explain the joke all that well to me but what matters is that she got my mom out of a serious funk during her cancer treatment. Impressions Is not just a great place to do your hair, but is filled with incredibly wonderful people. Should have done this review sooner, but with everything going on with her cancer treatment didn't have time until now.

I asked if they did not push back and trim the cuticles to which she replied "$5 more. " I didn't want to cause a scene in front of customers. Went back first thing this morning and asked to speak to manager in private. The lady working was rude and wanted to know what I wanted. There was only one other customer, so i told her," I want a refund, my nails are thick, fat not shaped well and my nails hurt. They do not look nice at all and several friends said they looked bad also". She said they will soak them off and give me a refund. Her husband started removing my nails while she worked on the other customer. She continued to argue with me, even after saying they would removed them and refund my money. The lady she was servicing finally told her, " you are not conducting good business, you are arguing with your customer, all she wants is a refund because of the way her nails look." She then began chattering to her husband in their language. I was becoming extremely unhappy and said "that is very rude, if you have something say about me, please say it to my face, I did not go behind your back and tell about the service I got, and expect the same respect if you have something to say." The other customer agreed with my statement. Only after dealing with her this morning did I decide to learn a negative review on social media. I prefer addressing problems in person. She then got up from helping her client, went in back and got money and slammed it down where her husband was helping me, only after asking several times if I paid cash or card, and me replying I paid with a $50 and $5. The man tried his best to remove the polish and acrylic ,however there are still hunks of it on my nails. I apologized to the other customer, that she had to experience this event, when she was probably hoping to have an enjoyable time getting her nails done. She expressed that it was not my fault, and asked the lady doing her nails(the one that did mine yesterday and was so rude today) if she as almost finished, rolled her eyes as if she thoroughly discussed with this. I will not return to this salon. The stylist kept saying they had new owners, which from what I have read, is her and her husband. Very rude, unprofessional, nails looked awful.

I found out about this place from another nurse a year ago. I always thought custom extensions would be an arm and a leg plus an additional kidney for the upkeep. Nope! After the initial investment in the actual hair it's been super reasonable. I don't spend much more to have my "move-ups" and color than I did just for my color maintenance and regular trims in Toledo. It's definitely worth the drive. Jaycee does my extensions, but after a year of coming here every 5-6 weeks I've never seen anyone leave upset. The whole salon is clean, well organized, beautifully maintained and features some great stylists. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they do great work inside. In Napoleon in a strip of older businesses you'd expect to see a lot of little old lady roller sets and perms- but don't be fooled. They have several stylists here who specialize in hand sewn beaded weft extensions. I have difficult hair to get and keep blonde- my color has never looked better. This is a great salon worth the drive.

Not a fan in sight and to at least move stale air around. Now to the horrible "pedicure" if you can call it that. I had pedicures in the past and it was a surprise to me that the chairs were not set up and that they manhandled my feet. They used an electronic nail filer to the point of almost breaking skin at the cuticle. All I received for my "basic" pedicure was a soak, mediocre nail trim and subpar callus scrape and "exfoliating" treatment. My cuticles were never removed and I never received a buff or a top coat. I would never go back and I plan on telling everyone I know to avoid that place.
