This is the first time that I have ever left a review anywhere....that is how good the service is!…read more Received two Groupons (each with two massages) this past Christmas. Finally scheduled a massage with Carol a few weeks ago...and have gone back two more times since and will continue to go as long as I can afford to do so. I am a certified reflexologist and have spent hours giving sessions and also many many hours receiving massage and the like...hands down, these sessions have been at the top of the list! Carol's office is cozy and clean. She uses a warm table, towels and heating pads along with oils and essentials that don't leave the skin greasy or weird. The massage itself is always perfect with the right amount of pressure in effleurage, kneading and pressure points. She checks in beforehand to see how she can help and if I still want the same pressure. Friends commented the day after my first massage and could see the improvement in my body and energy. Sounds cheesy but I can feel how much she enjoys what she does - massage is definitely one of her callings! Parking is limited in the front of the building, but more spaces are down in the driveway to the right of it.

I was VERY sore for a few days so I would suggest starting with 30 minutes & build up to a longer length of time. I did an hour & it was a lot afterwards but that could just be me. During the massage it felt amazing it was just afterwards I was sore. Great experience none the less!!

Shockwave Therapy Works!!!…read more Chronic neck pain and stiffness prompted me to see Drs. Bill and Bridget for treatment. Through conventional chiropractic treatment, I've been pain free for about 20 months. My wife was experiencing chronic shoulder pain and a physician said to her: "Learn to live with it." I coaxed her to try Shockwave Therapy and it worked! You need to know that my wife's results were not immediate. It took about five months for her pain to gradually subside. Try it!

Both are fantastic. My shoulder and back aches after sitting hunched at the the computer desk all day long. Both these therapists knew *exactly* where the problem area was and hit the spot. Alyna presses down on the knots, takes her time and my shoulder and neck feels fantastic. I have their membership. I like that there is no contract and how the massages roll-over to the next month if you can't make it a particular month. Totally worth the $60.

I have visited the Murrysville Center for Massage Therapy many times over the past several years…read more They moved to this location maybe in 2005/2006 or so, and I probably started visiting them right about that time. When I lived in the area I used to be a bit more of a frequent client, however since moving out of state, I usually only am now able to visit at the holidays and maybe in the summer. This is a great place for a massage. Within here, I tend to bounce around to different masseuses, and have been very satisfied with them all. They have been friendly, professional, and listened and then focused on the areas of my concern. I tend to like a lot of pressure during massages and have found that they are more than able to provide that for the duration of my appointment. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing with soft music or nature sounds playing in the background (like most places might have). I always head out of the room lighter and am greeted in the reception area with a glass of water by my masseuse providing me with 'after care' instructions like drinking fluids and resting, and once even some additional self-massage tips when I had a chronic back issue. Prices run pretty average for massages here. This is truly a studio focused on healing and wellness, and I am always happy to visit when back in town. As a fun note, they usually offer a small (but welcome) discount on gift certificates purchased in December which makes for a great holiday gift!

I had a jaw pain coming from tense muscles, and a cold with a continuous loss of appetite for a over a week plus hay fever. To treat all concerns, although I had only made appointment for Reiki, my masseuse planned a 15 minute massage to loosen up the muscles around the neck to shoulders to treat my jaw, and then Reiki for the rest of the body. The room was fairly large with walls and a door (not the curtain-separated areas found in some massage places), and had a vase with running water to add BGM of a natural sound. Massage was an oil massage done lying face up, and Reiki face down. I fell asleep, even started snoring with the great massage and Reiki, and after the end of the course my masseuse was waiting for me at the front counter with a glass of water. Discounts are also available for a set of 5 tickets at 10% discount. There will be 15% discount in December.

I've been having some headache/ neck/ eye issues that my Chiropractor just can't seem to keep from coming back so she recommended cranio sacral therapy. Upon checking for places, I found it available at Super Spa Girl! I've heard of it a bit over the years and did some research more recently. Worst case scenario I get to lay in a dark relaxing room for an hour right? The office is bright and calm. Very clean. Nicole was very professional. She explained a bit about what she'd be doing and what my expectations should be. I asked a few questions during and she answered them in an informative way. I know CST isn't supposed to be an instant fix, but today my base of skull, eye, and forehead all feel lighter- less pressure. I do feel like I had some results and will definitely be going back.
