Then arrived to my appointment on time and no one was even there yet at 8am, finally 5 min went by and employees showed up and I was given another estimate that was more cost but still reasonable, being I had an older model car with some older tint on it. Then an hour goes by with my car still at exclusive tint and I get a call that the price would be even more now because my car had some type of "glue" on it. The price has now changed 3 times and gone up by $300. I finally after 6.5 hours got to get my vehicle and the price was CHANGED again! I go onto ask and they tell me due to taxes it was that amount but it just did not add up. So I pay and later on call back because my tint is lighter than I expected and turns out they indeed over charge me after I even asked 2 times!! i was frustrated by now and the lady in the front wasn't even going to tell me all the requirements for after care until I asked myself. I was refunded the amount but I was not given a call back just a text that it was done.I wanted and still want a broken down re of the services and all the prices, but they could not give me that and still have not. I would not recommend unless you want unprofessional staff and to pay over $500 for some tint that is not even what you asked for.

So I decided to give it a try…read more After scheduling my appointment and showing up on time, they had over booked themselves and were short handed so the appointment took longer than they anticipated. I was initially happy with the tint, but soon realized that it needed to be redone for a small defect; (it was obstructing my view). I called and spoke to the daughter of the owner who assured me they could retrim the tint (it was an eyebrow tint over the windshield) for no additional charge. Sounded good! I showed up and they tore the original work they had done and then told me that they couldn't trim the tint, but they would happily replace the tint for an additional charge of $35. It was a shakedown for sure. They had absolutely no customer service. I asked to speak to the manager (her father) but was told he wasn't available. After some haggling, they replaced the tint but did such a terrible job that there are streaks in the tint, bubbles throughout the work, and left over residue throughout the dash of my vehicle. I will not return to this place and warn everyone about Tall City Tint. Pictures are attached. You can see the streaks and other materials that were left on the windshield. Update: Finally made contact with the owner of this shady business. My thoughts have not changed. This place and the staff are not honorable. Customer beware!

I showed the tech, whom I believe is also the owner, that the driver's side window drops a quarter inch when you open the door. He said multiple times that he has been tinting for more than 20 years and knows how to do the job. When he finished with the car, a 2020 BMW convertible, I could see that the dot matrix on the windows had not been dry tacked. He also said I could roll down the windows and drop the top right away, which he had me do. I rolled up the windows and raised the top after I left the shop. Any seasoned, professional tinted will tell you to wait AT LEAST 24 hours, if not 3 days, before rolling the windows down. The tech told me he had rolled the windows down and dropped the top already. By the time I got home (2.5 hours away), I could see the bubbles at the lower quarter inch of the driver's side window. There was also a sloppy cut on the bottom of the rear quarter panel on the driver's side. In addition, the passenger's side window has 4 or 5 "specks" of something that got trapped between the film and the glass. There are other imperfections on four windows that have not "worked themselves out," as the guy said they would aftwr 2 days. The rear window seems to be the only decent tint on the car. Unacceptable. He also let his wife drive my car from the garage to the front parking spot, which is unconventional. There were a couple of positives worth mentioning, to be fair. He did let me know about a scratch in a window that may or may not be more visible with the tint. He and the young woman working the counter were both friendly. Unfortunately, my calls to bring the car in for a tint fix were unanswered over a four-hour period when the shop was allegedly open the following Monday, which is fine because in the end, I'm not confident the issues would be resolved a second time around. I made an appointment with a shop that has stellar reviews to get the tint fixed. I'm looking at paying an additional $200 on what initially cost $298 for ceramic tint. This amount does not include the additional 5-hour round trip I will have to make. The tech said it only took him 1.5 hours to install the tint. I would have gladly waited 3 hours to have the job done right.

I wanted to add a dash camera to my son's car. Kings Kustomz were extremely accommodating, getting me in the very next day. They completed the job in no time at all and had me on my way. They were very professional and did better than I would have ever imagined! The dash cameras were installed, in proper working order, no exposed wires, and are very discrete. Worst body shop experience I've ever had. I took my car to Julio's Body Shop and the results were…read morebeyond terrible. The new bumper they put on wasn't even installed correctly -- my dad had to pop it in because it was hanging loose. The paint didn't even match and was already cracking. On top of that, my horn doesn't work, my cruise control doesn't work, my outside temperature sensor stopped working, half of my driver-side headlight doesn't work, and even the battery warning light came on after their so-called "repair." When I took it to a real mechanic, they told me this was one of the worst jobs they've ever seen. They said whoever worked on my vehicle didn't even bother to plug things back in properly. That explains all the electrical issues I'm now dealing with. When I asked Julio about it, he suddenly claimed the wires were "spliced up," which is completely untrue. Funny how he only mentioned that after I brought up the check engine light and other problems. If I hadn't said anything, he probably wouldn't have admitted to anything at all. To make things worse, the customer service is just as bad. His mother, who works the front desk, was rude as hell. When I asked how long the repair would take, she gave me attitude and snapped back, "None of your business. When you have your own shop you can do what you want." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Julio also ignored my calls and texts, and when I finally reached out again, he acted like he didn't even know who I was. Totally shady. And to top it all off, he randomly told my wife he was "7 months sober from meth." Totally unnecessary and not something a customer should ever hear. Here's some pics of the horrible job they did so you can see for yourself. NEVER have I ever seen work done this poorly. I was supposed to bring the car back to let him "fix it," but I'm not risking letting him mess it up even worse. I'm taking it to a real mechanic who actually knows what they're doing.
