A few years ago, I had Mohs surgery on my nose at Schweiger Dermatology for basal cell carcinoma…read more Before the procedure, I was told I might have a scar--but what I ended up with felt more like a disfigurement (see photos. The crater on my nose is from the surgery). Right after the surgery, I was handed a plastic surgeon's business card and told I'd need reconstruction. Recently, I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma again. This time, I chose a facility in New York that has both a Mohs surgeon and a plastic surgeon on-site, hoping for a better outcome. I asked Schweiger to forward my biopsy results to the new facility a week ago. I've left multiple voicemails and emails--but haven't heard back. This is cancer, and time matters. The lack of response is upsetting and unacceptable. I wonder if they've lost my records or won't send them because I've chosen a different provider. As you may imagine, I can't recommend Schweiger Dermatology based on my experience.

Avoid Schweiger Dermatology - Poor Billing Practices and Cold Service…read more I went to Schweiger twice. The first time, they resolved my scalp hair loss issue--effective treatment. The second time, I had skin tags removed. The procedure was quick and healed well, though it left a small scar. I can live with that. But the experience beyond treatment was frustrating: The doctor was clinical and brief. No real discussion, no clear explanation of what he planned to do. Just in and out. Billing was a nightmare. I paid $175 upfront, then got billed $64 again for the same visit. After submitting proof and being told I'd get a refund, I was contacted again a month later--no record of my payment, no record of my submission. I had to threaten legal action just to get someone to take it seriously. They scheduled another procedure but refused to give a cost estimate until after surgery. That's unacceptable and feels like a setup for surprise billing. I've since switched clinics. The new place is transparent, professional, and respectful. Schweiger may get the job done medically, but the lack of communication and shady billing practices make it a hard no for me.

The Princeton Medical Group urgently needs to confront the reality that its current staffing and…read morepatient‑care model is not keeping pace with the demands of flu and RSV season. What happened to me is not an isolated inconvenience -- it reflects a deeper, structural problem that puts patients at risk, especially those with complex medical circumstances or limited treatment options. Day before yesterday, while acutely ill with an undiagnosed respiratory infection, I sought care at their office. The physician began the diagnostic process with rapid strep and flu testing, but did not perform a 24‑hour strep culture -- a standard step when symptoms are severe or persistent. Since that visit, I have been battling a 104‑degree fever with no relief, and because I cannot take anything stronger than Tylenol, timely follow‑up care is not optional for me; it is essential. Yesterday, I contacted the office repeatedly to express worsening symptoms, discuss the need for retesting, and request guidance. Despite the seriousness of the situation -- including the fact that I live with an immunocompromised family member awaiting a kidney transplant -- the practice was unable to accommodate any follow‑up evaluation. Not a same‑day appointment. Repeated nurse callbacks happened with no solid plan of action. This is not acceptable patient care. When a medical practice cannot respond to urgent concerns during peak illness season, patients are left with two unacceptable choices: suffer at home without adequate support or seek emergency care for issues that should be manageable in an outpatient setting. Neither outcome reflects a functioning primary‑care system. Princeton Medical Group must take responsibility for addressing these gaps. That means proactively recruiting additional nursing staff and primary care physicians, expanding triage capacity, and ensuring that high‑risk patients are not left without guidance or access to care. Flu and RSV surges are predictable. Patient abandonment should not be. My experience underscores a broader truth: the community deserves a medical practice that is prepared, responsive, and capable of delivering safe, timely care -- not one that leaves patients stranded when they need help most. Get your act together!

After being a patient of Image Dermatology for over 3 years, I am saddened to write this review. I…read morehave been a patient of Megan and always found her to be a thorough and professional provider. I've had some recent concerns and called the office to schedule an appointment with Dr. Downie as she had closer availability. I received TWO text message confirmations for my appointment prior to and one email confirmation ( all attached below). I arrived to my appointment today and was told they " couldn't find my appointment", that I could be seen however there were 6 people ahead of me which would result in over an hour and a half wait before I was seen. I expressed to the office that while I anticipated a wait, 1.5 hours was well beyond an acceptable wait time. I am an understanding person and have no problem waiting 30 minutes beyond my appointment time, even 45 minutes if there is an emergency however, 1.5 hours is nothing but a reflection of poor office management. Additionally, as my appointment was confirmed but somehow not coming up in the system, I asked for reasonable accommodations from the office. I did everything correct as a patient : I confined my appointment, I arrived early to my appointment and remained respectful in communicating my concerns. I requested, as the error was on the office and not myself, to be seen later today at 3:30. Again, reasonable accommodation request considering I showed the office proof that my appointment was confined by their system. The only options provided to me were to see Megan on another day and time or to see Dr. Downie during her next open appointment which was at 5:00 pm today. When I expressed that 5pm didn't not work as I needed to head to work that time, I was offered to come at my requested 3:30pm time and wait 1.5 hours to be seen... so still 5:00pm. Very unprofessional and quite frankly rude. I'm not sure about this office, but I'm sure in business and healthcare, when a error is made by the practice, it is then their responsibility to fix the error without additional inconvenience to the patron. Late appointments are cancelled and cancelled appointments result in a $100 fee so there is a communicated expectation of respecting the doctors time, however this same expectation of respect for time is not given to patients. I gave this dermatologist office two stars purely for Megan, however this practice has lost me and my future additional referrals as a client.

So, a family member had seen Dr. Downie on a talk show and recommended that I check her out. So I did and so far that was a good decision. Every appointment I have had with her has been a pleasant experience. She is a very relatable and kind person. The whole staff is very welcoming. Usually when I go to a doctors office it becomes a hurry up and wait game; but that has not been my experience with image dermatology. They're very thorough but they try hard to get you in and out. I Recently had an emergency appointment for a skin problem that I am having. Although she was done for the day, after explaining the issue, Dr. Downie called me back and asked me to come in and that she would wait for me. She has run all types of test and proven to be very thorough with me, which is something I like. I have no doubt that she will not stop until she has found what my underlying issue is and cured it.
