What a lousy experience that was. I finally received the film and DVDs back, after this film was with OntoDVD for around six months. Yep, six months. I sent a short roll of Super 8 (15ft) as a test before I intended to send 63 rolls of Super 8 their way for transfer. However, given the truly appalling level of service and the fact that they had the gall to actually charge me after failing to provide one single level of decent customer service (and on several occasions, even fail tell the truth), I wouldn't dream of putting another bit of business their way. The only reason I didn't tell them beforehand was they retained my original film. During this long old six months or so, Callum - who I believe is the owner - or his colleagues, managed to return maybe two of the countless calls I made to the office to chase this up, despite promises to always call me back. The same goes with emails. They told me on several occasions the transfer had been done and was in the post. Not true. My first conversation with the company informed me there was no minimum charge on this test. Not true. They vastly overcharged me on the first PayPal invoice, only reduced when I queried it on a numerous occasions. And then finally, only this week on the 23nd July, after I called several times per day, rather than admit to the fact that they hadn't actually posted the film to me on the 9th July (as they assured had been done) they chose to lie and blame Royal Mail. I know this was a lie because they refused to send me any Track & Trace as promised, Callum or his receptionist dragged our other conversations through nonsense about 'being on the phone to Royal Mail' who had miraculously found it and would send on themselves (despite not having any Track & Trace), and then when it arrived today, it's stamped 22nd July. Plus, another colleague there told me, when I asked him, that it had only been posted the day before and not on the 9th, which conformed what I had suspected. What a long-winded, convoluted load of nonsense, when a "Sorry, I actually forgot to post it but will do today" would have been much easier. But after six months of smoke and mirrors, that wasn't too surprising. Looking online, it's no surprise this company and service are slated for being inadequate. I've subsequently had my other 63 rolls transferred elsewhere and am very pleased with the results (not to mention the time it took to do this). Don't waste your time with these lot. They're not reputable, not reliable and not honest. read more
