We called at about 10:30 and had someone at the house by 4:30. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable and spent an hour going over our house inside and out. Within 24 hours we saw a big improvement of a problem our other company was working on for about 6 months. We did not take changing companies lightly. But we had to do what we had to do. Two small things to take note. 1.What they use is safe for pets and humans but both my husband and one of my dogs did have a slight reaction to the treatment. 2. They are not cheap. But I guess you get what you paid form Glad we made the switch. Plan on staying with them for a very long time.

I happened to come by and see my house and they were there taking the sign and tape off. The driver said everything was good and I can get in. I didn't feel violated that people were inside my home without me there. Everything was as I left it. Nothing was moved opened or missing. I cleaned before I left and then I came back it was just as I left it. The company I had who didn't do the job was the total opposite and I felt like my house was dirty and violated everything was opened grass and dirt was everywhere and furniture was pulled out. Just not a nice feeling. I'm very happy with the outcome and the entire process. It was also a little less expensive wich is nice being a widow with very little income.

On Friday green came off on our dog's paws (had not been out till then). On Christmas day it is still coming off (see pictures). Bates refused to acknowledge it was a long-term problem and refused to do anything about it saying they were not responsible for anything done to our lawn as we had signed an agreement that they were not responsible. We have used their service for 32 years and never that problem before. The owner said he does not need to respond to a complaint filed with the BBB, which I had done on 13 Dec 2024. This company is literally the biggest stressor in my life to the point that I stopped using them for pest control on a monthly basis, switched to a seasonal basis, and now have quit them all together. Everyone seems very pleasant, but are absolutely horrible with follow through and no one seems to know where the fault lies. They each blame a different department and the automated scheduling system. I assume it is the manager and no one is able to say that out loud. They will promise you a specific time. And then arbitrarily change it. I've had to have them come out multiple times to service the same area because their technicians do not do a thorough job. Online it says they're open 24 hours, but they are really open around 10 -5. Even if you ask for the earliest time slot and they say 8-10, they get to the office around 8, have a meeting, and then leave around 9. I've never had anyone come earlier than 10ish. I've had to take off so many days of work to accommodate these people. It isn't worth it.
