Well, 2 years later both palms are dying and after spending 2k on the palms with installation they offered absolutely nothing to fix it other than a phone call and recommending to add more fertilizer. again, they installed them and all. I know palms can be tricky and user error to an extent but I did everything by the book. It's a shame their customer service isn't better and they own the fact that maybe they installed inferior palms.

They also have no idea what they are doing. My new contractor has provided me with the notes from the permitting department that they kept me in the dark with and there were tons of items that needed attention that were never brought to my attention. All i kept hearing was "we almost have the permit" DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF THEY EVER SHOW UP AGAIN!!!!!!

We were assigned what I would consider as the B or C team to complete our project as no one after the first few days spoke English, didn't know what they were there to work on, and it became a one-man crew after the first part was over. I politely made last payment thinking my project was done after many delays, only to have a partially finished project. I was forced to install the gutter on the new wall since the initial plans forgot to include them. I thought that's where the problems would end. I was wrong. The wall leaked because the guys doing the stucco covered over the weep holes on the new windows and I had to seal them myself, I had to redo shingling that wasn't put down properly on the roof after the construction, I even had to reverse the hinges on the door because they were installed upside down on the new exterior door. Was this it? Nope it gets worse. I went to install the fan in the new ceiling only to find they had used an angle bracket (see pic) for the fan which would have been fine, had it been installed properly. Instead, it was installed using drywall screws and wasn't even mounted properly facing the right direction to be installed. I went and removed it and put up a proper bracket that attached between the two joists in the ceiling.....not hard. Was it over then? Nope. After I pulled down the incorrect mount, I went up into the attic because I needed a bit more slack on the wiring to properly install the fan. Low and behold, they forgot to remove the old exterior stucco wall (see pic) and it is now embedded in my attic with no access to the new area where my new roof line was put in. Also, on top of it, they didn't properly secure a junction/gang box for the electrical in the attic and left them just sitting on top of the insulation (see pic). If I had installed the fan and it fell, it would've set the house on fire from open and exposed wires. Before taking on all this work myself my wife and I did try to reach out to them. After I had of course already made the final payment, I was told by someone by the name of Mike who was supposedly one of the owners, to basically all but piss off since they had received final payment and no longer cared. Work with them at your own risk and God help you if you get the backup crew to work on your project or you made final payment and find something wrong.

We hired Eileen because the work we wanted done was for a home we own in Florida, but we live most…read moreof the time in Maryland. We knew that we would not be able to handle the project when not in town. First, we got plans, which we loved; however, there were more than 3X what we gave as our budget. We were able do make some major adjustments to get to 1.5X our budget. This work was to involve a total redo of our back yard - remove and replace pavers, with some regrading, new landscaping, pool renovation, new irrigation, new lighting and front yard new sod, some new landscaping, lighting, and adjustments to the irrigation (I had actually requested new irrigation but after the work was done - and remember we do not live in Florida) the invoice indicated "adjust irrigation." We also had the fence replaced and although Eileen had no contacts for that (surprising), we found someone and connected the two of them. We found the communication to be terrible, when we tried to get information, such as an updated schedule, we got random information, some of which we knew was not/could not be accurate, we were notified of issues that needed to be addressed immediately - like the next day, when there was no way possible for that to happen even if we lived in Florida and there was no reason more notice could not have been given. We felt that Eileen was working for the pool and landscape companies, not at all for us. She did not check in with us on things and when we had a problem, she was no help. The layout of the pavers on one side was not at all in line with the plans and when I talked to her about that, she disagreed at first and then said she could not understand what I was saying. She agreed to go out and look, and the pavers were modified, but she had the audacity to send us a $150 site visit fee - on top of the $7,500 we had already paid her upfront. There was nothing in the contact about site visit fees. There was nothing said about a site visit fee. As far as we know, that was the only time, other than before the project started and we paid her the $7,500, that she ever came to the house to check on the work. she never contacted us to see if we were satisfied with the work, to see if everything looked the way it should, etc. We found her to be totally ineffectual and very much regret hiring her. We have had multiple issues with the pool - a bit over one month out and still pool issues, and issues with the irrigation system, although the landscaper who did the work denies that he is responsible for any of them. Once we get all of the issues that still remain, no thanks to Eileen, we believe we will be pleased with the work and that is the only reason I gave one star rather than zero stars.
