I really enjoyed my experience here!…read more Owned by a local Montreal girl, you'll feel like you're hanging at a friend's house doing your nails. Fun Spotify playlists in the background, and cute eucalyptus hanging from the wall! You can even grab a cup of tea. The shop is shared with a local female tattoo artist that does lovely line art tattoos. The nail salon owner is constantly trying new non toxic products! Disclaimer, if you are wearing gel she can take it off with acétone. Lots of super trendy colors from non toxic brands like Butter London and Ten over Ten. She uses amazing local crèmes and exfoliants as well! I got a mani pedi and with tip ended up paying ~75$ It is more expensive than a normal nail salon. However, I found that my mani lasted a long time, and the vibe made up for it! Also to note that this is a place to go and chill, and take your time. You will not end up having a quick in and out experience. I would plan on spending approx 2 hours here if you are getting a mani pedi to make sure everything dries well.

5 stars given for the nail technicians working here. But 1 star for the owner's lack of respect…read more have been going here for years, along with my mother and 2 sisters. Have never had a problem with any of the nail techs, they are kind caring and do a great job. But, beware of the owner!! After going to Onglerie Trang for over many years and remaining a loyal customer, I was treated badly by him. RUDE! He made errors on the prices and blamed ME for it. He does not care about proper customer service and will rudely dismiss you as any regular client instead of acknowledging and appreciating the fact that we are 4 girls who have always given him business. Needless to say, we will not be going back here and have already begun looking for other nail salons to try. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

First, the woman kept comparing my hair with…read morehers and kept telling me it would hurt.I know wax hurts its part of the process but thats not reassuring. I think because the shop was closing the woman didnt even complete her job and left hair. I told her this and her excuse was:"i think it hurt too much it ok". Of course waxing hurts but I wanted it done. That was the whole point. She also made me help her hold stuff down there while she semi-waxed me.I asked if I could wash my hands and she handed me paper. She also had no problems opening the door when I had my pants down. I had to tell her to not open the door until I got my clothes back on. No privacy. I dont recommend this place unless you want a job half done.
