I learned more about our case from the public court records then I did from this lawyer. I also found out that he caused a big delay by not filling out a motion correctly. The judge denied our motion to lift the automatic stay because Mr. Weiss missed an important step and we had to let our slimy tenant stay in our property for a few more weeks. He never indicated that the delay was his fault and he still had the nerve to send us another bill. Don't believe the Google reviews like we did.

Of this bill, Mr. Ghobadi charged me $3000 for the court reporter to attend the court for 7 hours and Mr. Ghobadi refused to show the bill from Court reporter. When I have contacted the court reporter, the court reporter also refused to send me the bill. Later I have discover that the court report and Mr. Ghobadi are very close friend. Mr. Ghobadi refuses to give me clear and truth answers to my questions. I was always confused as to what was going on with my case. He will refuse to provide me with the legal documents for my cases. He uses me as his secretary to organize my case and print all of my supporting documents. He refuses to organize all of my supporting document before going to the court. He will never prepare me before going to the court. He will always ask me to lie to the judge. He is truly a Conman and not trustable, I insist he is not trustable and at the end after playing with me enough and wasting my time, he told me he can't do anything on this case and I should pursue this with a collection lawyer. He did not give me any money back even after I tried 3 times and wrote to Virginia bar against him to get my money back. I took that $3500 out of my student loan account at the time with the hope he could help me, but I totally squander that money over this useless lawyer which I never forget in my life. Mrs. Nelson made mistakes including putting the incorrect plaintiff's name on the uncontested form, and sent it to my ex-husband and his lawyer. When my ex husband's lawyer sent the report back stating that they wanted to Contest the divorce in Dec 2023, Mrs. Nelson did not update me accordingly. I had to call the court house directly for the status. She advised that she did not have time to review what the Plaintiff's response was and she was going on vacation until after the New Year. After being displeased with her work ethic/ performance, and nonchalant attitude I hired a new attorney for the Contested part of my divorce. I was no longer within a legal contract with Mrs. Nelson. We only had a contract for the Uncontested portion which was paid up front with a receipt, and I was provided a copy of the contractual agreement. When I hired another attorney for the Contested divorce Mrs. Nelson advised that I owed her money for work that I did not authorize her to do in regards to the Contested divorce. I did not sign a contract with her, nor did I put any money in the retainer for the contested divorce. When I did some research on my end and found out that she billed me incorrectly, I emailed Mrs. Nelson and advised her of the discrepancy in billing. I also advised her that I stopped payment on the check, and advised if she thought I did this in error to please let me know and send me a copy of the signed contract. I did not defraud Mrs. Nelson, and had no ill intentions. I gave her a courtesy update because I do not cheat people. I gave her an opportunity to provide evidence, and she did not. Fast forward to July 2024- I had to go to court because Mrs. Nelson filed CRIMINAL Charges against me saying that I wrote a bad check. I had money in my account and did not owe Mrs. Nelson. I am a law abiding citizen and have a cleared record. I had to get a criminal defense lawyer to support my case. Presently not only am I dealing with a divorce, I am also dealing with false accusations towards me that could have landed me up to 1 year in jail. I have two kids that are dependent on me, a replicable reputation, and I am a cleared professional. I am so disappointed in how she handled things. Clearly she could see how much the divorce hurt me, and now these incorrect allegations and charges. ***God heard my prayers and the District Attorney (DA) through the case out due to lack of evidence on her part, and not having a contractual agreement *** Here's the kicker...
